St Mirren at home have beaten hib, celtic and Aberdeen by 2 or more.

Drew with Rangers(St Mirren should have won.

We were poor first half but that was down to them.

They're unbeaten in 10 at home.

We weren't at it today and their goal was a lucky deflection which left us chasing things from early on.

It's a shame we couldn't finish the job after getting back into it.

But will take the point.

Thought we were very poor. Game there to be won. We were very sloppy at times and without us gifting them opportunities, they created next to nothing of their own doing.

I’d have taken a point at 3pm but feel frustrated with us after watching that.

Should have won it with any quality in the final third. I was frustrated by the sloppiness and decision making in the final third but not with the overall effort of the team.

I forecast a draw before kick off and would have been happy with that.

We as a team however do not shoot enough, let alone get shots on target. 77% possession but no where near enough efforts at goal.

Fact but for careless play leading to free kick we would have had a clean sheet..

That’s a fair point. We look more like the team that cruised to 3rd last year. Ie - not losing when not at it.

The defence looks more solid than it did a wee while back which always helps.

Along as we follow up with a win on Friday, the point will be ok.

Agreed. We need to beat them on Friday night.

We can’t be as poor as we were in the first half again.

It’s a very good point. Arguably the hardest place to go outside the arsecheeks , as they are unbeaten at home in 10 or something, and half a team missing as well.
Crucially they didn’t gain on us and we have a superb opportunity next 2 home games on Friday night v them and the following Wednesday v Aberdeen to put some daylight between us.

Windy and a crap surface neither of which helps our style of play and, I hate to say it, St Mirren pressed very well. They had about 17 fouls to our 7 which tells a story.

Very good point. Anyone claiming otherwise doesn't understand or pay attention to football.

A win on Friday and we are in a very good position.

It is a good point. Like it or not they are an efficient unit, especially at home.

They nullified us in the first half, yes they could’ve been out of sight, but readjusting at half time and walking away with a point and not 0 is what good teams do.

We’ll do them on Friday under the lights.

Absolutely controlled the 2nd half. Only time St Mirren threatened was when we over complicated it in the final third and gave them a counter attack. Actually feel a bit disappointed with a point but after that 1st half I'll take it.

We definitely need a different option in attack.

A great last three games. A good win in Perth, a derby pumping and a good away point.

Very poor first half, not helped by them being compact after the lucky deflection early on

Much more like ourselves 2nd half and could have won it in the end.

An off day for Shankland but can’t complain after how good hes been for us.

Need to beat them next week.

Win on Friday and I'll be quite satisfied with 4 pts from the two games. Was never going to be easy today, and St Mirren made it really difficult first half.

As good a time as any to apologise for being a dick last year.

Hope you’re doing ok and have a good 2023. All the best.

We missed Halliday and Kingsley and Halkett - with them in the side I doubt St Mirren would have had as many chances and we would have been playing higher up the pitch first half. When the defence has it easier the midfield have more time on the ball. They were able to press us back first half but we worked it out.

A point is reasonable over there atm. Not going to be simple on Friday either as they are good on the break but if we get the first goal should be 3pts

Did say it'd be tough. Also thought we'd win, mind!

Beat them midweek, then Aberdeen, & we're cruising it again to 3rd.

Don't turn up on Wednesday mate...

We were shocking first half. Robbie has to act a lot quicker and change things if it's not going well. You could tell the 3 at the back wasn't working early doors.

Given how bad we were first half it's a good point though.

Friday Mr Prez.  But yes, victory in the next two and we are cruising.

As far as I am aware, they’ll be without Erahon, the lad who scored today (went off injured) and the lad who got sent off. No idea if that Baccus was injured too.

Regardless, I fancy us against anyone at home.

Lets av it 😎

(May also have a new signing or two by Friday 👀)

Couple of players coming in will give us a boost this week. Possibly 3.

Hope so. They nullified Snodgrass in the first half and we looked a bit stuck today. Happy enough with a point considering.

Stinking performance, particularly first half, but good result. Thought if we could get 4 points off St Mirren this week we’d be ding very well. Win on Friday and job done.

Too soft as a club.

Players were at our local nursery last night looking after single parent heroin addicts children while cooking vegan meals.

I hate piling on you but have a fekin deek at their home record this season.

And our away one for the past 10+ seasons.

More than good at this stage.  We aren't losing games we would have before.

Just said the same in a group chat full of Hibs fans. Getting victories or draws at places we would normally drop the three points is good going. Again with half a first team out.

Scary to think what we can achieve with a fully fit squad!!!

The sign of any decent football team is when picking up points away from home especially when the squad is crippled with injuries.

Every team below ups there game against us for good reason too. We are the 3rd best team in Scotland by a long way..

Without all these injuries we wouldn't be looking behind us in the table at teams being as close as they are just now. Also we've had Europe this season to contend with and STILL are 3rd. HHGH

Great point today with a poor performance
