Dangerous missile if thrown and if it hits its target.

Highlighted after Shanks celebrates the first goal, one thrown just as Shanks dispatches the penalty and when the players celebrate at the Wheatfield Stand.

I know Hearts fans were not angels in the past so there maybe a sprinkling of hypocrisy with my post but the current consistency with the Hibs lot throwing objects at opposition players is getting beyond a joke, numerous investigations claimed after incidents highlighted but no outcome from the authorities.

Time to cut their allocation and accommodate our own ???

I’ve always been against cutting the allocation for them as it’s great for the atmosphere, but the throwing of objects is beyond a joke now, the worst support for it in Scotland even including the OF. It’s every derby, it’s constantly highlighted & nothing is done about it, we know it comes from their “block seven” gimps because it’s the same part of the ground at ER every time. If they won’t stop then cut them to one upper tier section & ban all those associated with that group from the stadium.

Both clubs are in cahoots with each other and according to sources there's a good relationship in place.

However the investigations are getting swept under the carpet with no action taken against the perpetrators, unless its not highlighted in the media so is it down to HMFC to threaten the relationship by taking action in reducing the allocation ?

Could Hibs afford to agree to this as they'd lose out financially.

Going by the colour scheme that must be Shanklands since he's not allowed a cigar on the pitch!

Give them the whole allocation, but get a big net installed which stops them being able to throw things.  If they complain about the view, it's their own ****ing fault for needing it installed in the first place.

I can’t believe there are still people wanting to lock out 2000 Hearts fans from a HOME derby to let 2000 Hibs fans watch it instead

If we put up a net they'll claim we're trying to unsettle Will Fish in defence.

He managed to do that all on his own last night, so we probably shouldn't worry about that :jj:

So we can get the same at Easter Road?  A Derby should have a full stand for each team.

Is it not because Hibs would probably cut our allocation at ER by the same amount ?    I can see both side of the argument.  Apparently Rangers cut Celtic's allocation yesterday to just a few hundred - not sure if that was in retaliation for Celtic doing the same at Darkheid.

We should get our own house in order, a bottle was thrown at Marshall from the Gorgie stand, as seen in the Humphrys goal replay.

There are these types in every support but yesterday the amount of missiles coming from the Hibs end was more than your normal arseholes in every support was almost like that full corner threw an item each.

Stupid Sexy Flanders

The answer is simple, and I'm not sure why it doesn't seem to really happen, there's probably some reason I'm not aware of, but surely we just need to have all areas covered by cctv and identify/charge the culprits.

We shouldn't be punishing whole clubs and innocent people for the sake of a few utter arseholes.

By The Light..

any fan that throws anything trying to potentially injure a player is total scum, high resolution CCTV to identify them and arrest them on the day and get the locked up and charged with assault/grievous bodily harm

I was amazed watching a French game a couple of days ago that when a player was going to take a free kick he was getting all sorts chucked at him. So 2 ground staff ran around and stood behind him with a big pole each with a net stretched between them. Then once the kick was taken and the player moved away they folded it up and went back to the corner of the ground until the next time.

I'd hope the perpetrator could be identified by CCTV and is dealt with to the letter of the law.

Self preservation for their seat at ER. That can be the only reason. So basically thinking about themselves rather than the club.

The loyalty points argument over a limited Easter Road allocation would be box office though.

Exactly. Greeting because we may lose our allocation at ER.

Mental. 2 games a season to the detriment of thousands of Hearts fans.

Said it on the other thread but I’d either ban them altogether or erect netting or plastic , which will pen them in like the animals they are.  The only way

It’s a real quandary……

I love to cut their allocation but then I don’t want the team to lose any of the great support it receives at ER.

Got to look at the policing and stewards at their end. Block 7 has a bad reputation for missiles. Cochrane and other teams have been hit this season.

1 of the neds fell through the advertising gate, got pitchside to throw a coin/lighter at Ginnelly but thankfully missed.

The stewards just let him walk but into the stand and to his seat. Heavy police presence outside even though the cordon separates fans, why are they not in front of that section to take action?

Hearts pay for the police in the stadium but not for the police presence out on the streets.

Problem being there seemed to be none in the ground or willing to take action against a blatant offence.

He's out the stand and on the park so if he's lifted surely no complaints.

Don't know about cutting their allocation but on sister fister they are claiming doubling up at the turnstiles, meaning non paying clown got in along with those who had a ticket. Can't really see how they could do this but this is what they are claiming.

Been mentioned before the police won't go into the crowd and it's claimed they wait until the person is outside before being lifted. They won't enter the crowd as they has insufficient numbers to stop a riot.

The person only said so because the area he was in had several people in it but this could be more likely folk just wanting to stand anywhere regardless of where their seat is.

Away ticketing is always organised chaos for any team.

They'd rather record the crowd for 90 mins and catch them afterwards like you've said, very strange way of policing but these are the times we live in.

Although at Easter Road in August i seen several of our own led out of the stadium in cuffs so seems like they can be brave when they want to be.

I'd love to see the club make this kind of move. Tell them to ram their gentleman's agreement if their fans can't avoid throwing missiles at our players.

Speaking to a Hibs mate telling countless Hibbys doubling up at Turnstiles, standing in the aisles, fans fighting amongst each other because they can’t see or get to a seat they have paid for.

How is this allowed to happen, wtf do we pay police and stewards for ?

Make no mistake this is a serious accident waiting to happen and have no doubt about it, HMFC will be the ones held responsible and will have to pay the price.

until we get this sorted out with overcrowding from mainly Hibs and Celtic fans, then all away fans should receive absolute minimum allocation-1 section

if Hibs are petty and reduce our allocation for ER, then that’s a price worth paying

Btw Hibs stewards and police don't do anything about how overfull Block 26 is when we visit there. They were more than happy in August to allow people to watch the game from the walkway/ concourse it was that bad.
