The more I read into it the more I think we are getting humped, they have been in champions League and Europa League recently so are well experienced in Europe whilst we are injured, out of form have no European experience.

Stranger things have happened but these lot are much better than Zürich

The value of their squad is €50 million, we shouldn't really have much of a chance. Hopefully the fight will carry us to a decent result, but we should definitely live in hope, not expectation.

I think most trains through Perth are cancelled due to flooding

Small place north east of Perth. In the heart of berry picking country!

They are top seeds in our group for a reason. It's the equivalent of Fiorentina vs Riga. If Riga were to get a result against them we'd be shocked.

It really is pathetic.  People in their 90s die.

agree. we all have elderly relatives who pass on but don't enforce sadness onto others. The conveyor belt of life goes on. When prince Phillip passed, it was blanket TV coverage of.....well, people saying how sad it was he'd died. yeah - we got it.

fine for a few hours of news, then a few hours of tv coverage of the funeral and then move on. The BBC if it wants can fill its boots with 24 hour coverage of it on BBC3 or some other obscure free to air channel - then those who want to watch it can.

I'm neither pro or anti royal - just not arsed.

It is time to expunge the memory of the last two performances. Bigger teams than this lot have come to Tynecastle and been sent on their way. If we believe in ourselves, and play like we believe in ourselves, we can do this.

Let's get intae them!

I hope the team aren’t reading this thread. They may as well stay in the dressing room. I have every faith in the lads to put in a great performance tonight. Go on lads

If this is true, how come they're not in the Champions League? Genuine question... they won their league.

Trabzonspor won the league. They got beat in final qualifying by Copenhagen.

For anybody worried about the game being called off, Prince William, Anne & Edward have only just arrived at Aberdeen airport, then it's a fair drive to Balmoral, over an hour so I believe.  Harry & Meghan are still to arrive at Aberdeen.

I do not think there will be any announcements until all of the family are at Balmoral.

I reckon the folk who got moved from the front three rows of the Gorgie due to UEFA restrictions won't be complaining when it's absolutely chucking buckets the entire match

Do we have 2 GKs on the bench?

Halliday in the 10

Might be Devlin in the 10, just slightly higher than Haliday and Haring.
