Totally agree ! When Robbie took over we were in the Championship , first season won the championship , 2nd season finished 3rd in league and qualified for Europe aswell as good cup runs , progress been there for everyone to see.

Not to fused if Gino leaves , one of those players you pin your hopes on changing a game or influencing it , then most times wont !

I might have agreed with you if we were defending our tits off after the changes but we weren’t.

The tactics were working just fine until various defenders forgot to do their jobs for 20 seconds.

We weren’t pegged back in any way for the last 20 minutes.

That was exactly what Craig Levein was bolloxed for.

No Idle Talk

Gino has been a bit of a disappointment for me. He changed the game in the 2020 Scottish Cup Final and he looked very useful in the season we were in the Championship. He hasn't really delivered since. So if we sell him I really won't be too bothered. I don't think he's a Hearts player to be honest. Athletically he definitely has a lot to offer. But with the ball at his feet he disappoints so often. Frustrating player to watch, I find. If he does move on, I wish him all the best wherever he goes.

Simms and Souttar improved.

Pollock is improving.

Henderson according to many has improved

The thing the Bob rabid gang forget is that in terms of development and coaching at the 1 to 1 level Bob has little to do with it, there is a team of coaching staff for that.

Where the actual **** did this chronic "Bob" patter come from?

Is it supposed to be some kind of humour thing. Absolutely dreadful stuff.

Could Ginnelly have been trusted to get involved in the game and not be anonymous as he often is? Could he be trusted to stay switched on defensively for the inevitable late surge? Neilson clearly thought the answer to both was no and I don't really have a problem with that. Also, Halliday is only a couple of games removed from scoring a double against them.

Are people still going to go on about those goals forever, great though they were he’s in a long line of average players to score against them ;- Nade/Obua/Glen/Prince/Smith/Barr/Grainger/Kisnorbo/McKenna/Wighton/Claire/Bozanic/Washington to name a few.

Bob has been about for years.

Short for Robert, Rob, Robbie etc.

It's not a new thing.

Our manager has never been known as Bob though. It's excruciating patter.

Some poster called Neilson that after the Brora game when he claimed to be a family friend and that he was leaving in the summer. He left here not long after. Only one person calls Neilson that now. Yes it is chronic but it’s a term of endearment from Tosh/BRB( who wanted Hibs to win the cup but now talks about it like it wasn’t him).

Aye, you probably prefered the phoodle days, probably no problem with that.

Bob is a term of endearment.

Or are you a Bobmeister type o' guy?

It it winds you up, it's your problem.

This thread is about Gino, not Bob.

Phoodle? What are you talking about? You seem to have quite an aggressive tone towards people. I've never heard anyone refer to Robbie Neilson as "Bob".

There was posters with Neilsons head superimposed on a poodle, not entirely sure the context but I took one down off Aldi in Gorgie when he returned.

You're the one steaming in about Bob and getting all excited about it.

Be like Bob, be cool.

The Phoodle stuff’s out of order and I don’t even know why he got the name. You have to admit though, the pictures pretty funny.

What was he meant to have Appoligised for?

And if he did Appoligise, would he need to walk or would said poster boys accept that and get on the Bobmeister train.

There must be one on here that can answer?

I was thinking that when I posted it, I wasn’t when I first saw it though. All a bit embarrassing really.

I think for the loss to Hibs in the cup. I think that train has left the station no matter what.

Ahh.

Shame, felt like an olive branch from them.

I can't believe such folk would be so insincere, especially with the amount of effort and skill they put into the design of the poster.

Walking out for the mighty MK Dons is all that I can think of.

You make a lot of good points and I admire your loyalty to the manager but your bob crap discredits them to be honest.

We should all back Robbie Neilson, cup winning player and manager of our club 👍

There's no way he doesn't offer a good sub option.

Yeah, his pace is really dangerous when he uses it like that.

Great option off the bench.

Indeed, like he could have been last week.  When we didn’t even need a goal, just to run the channels against a pish Hibs defence.

I hope Robbies learned a bit of a lesson there. I mentioned last week that Paulo used to stick Suso on late in games to push the opposition back, Gino could do that same role for us.

There's something very angry about Gino at the moment, and I kinda like it :D Its like he's out to prove a point.

Surely one of the season's best celebrations as well.
