Just doing a crash course in Weezer and Fall out Boy before The Green Day gig tomorrow.

I know Buddy Holly and Beverley Hills by Weezer and pretty much nothing by Fall out boy.

Can anyone recommend a couple of songs I should listed to that are likely to be played at the Gig.

Both bands sound really good but I just don’t know what songs to listen to.

Weezer and Inhaler should do a cover of Pearl Jams "Just Breathe"

Love Weezer. Saw them at the Corn Exchange many years ago 😎

They seem to be churning stuff out relentlessly these days though that its hard to keep up so I think the last cd I bought was the Black album

This seems to have been the set list from the other day, which might help...

Agree with all the above. Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner by Fall Out Boy is a decent tune. Takes me back to being young and dumb. Simpler times 🥹

Maladroit is there best album by far but they dont seem to play anything off it ever! I saw them at The Corn Exchange years ago but the actual year escapes me! Their new LP Summer is alright..

Was trying to remember the year myself...think it was 2005 as part of the Fringe.

Throw Immortals in there by FOB.

Definitely need to add Hash Pipe and Pork and Beans by Weezer.

Amyl And The Sniffers will be firt on the bill, make sure you're early enough to catch them. It will get the adrenalin flowing for anything that follows.

Saw them both At London on Friday, both were absolutely brilliant. One of the highlights was Weezer covering enter sandman!

Greedy Jambo

Fallout Boy should not be mentioned in the same breath as Weezer.

One of my Favourites.

Hope it was a good gig. I discovered that St Vincent was in the Usher Hall tonight and managed to get a ticket for the standing area. Superb gig, and seeing a band so soon after a festival where you’ve watched the set on telly it makes you appreciate how much better bands are in a proper venue with their own lighting and staging.

I thought the concert was excellent. The young lad out the crowd playing basket case on the guitar was quality. I enjoyed Buddy Holly by Weezer and watching the mosh pits that appeared in front of me behind me and to the side of me.

Bit of a nightmare getting home had to walk from park to city centre. There were no trains to Edinburgh and bus only goes to Edinburgh airport. Huge queue at bus station and bloke in charge was pretty aggressive.

Dam. I took the car and could have given you a lift. Sorry 🙁

Next time I will advertise this - always good to help a Jambo out

Салатные палочки

My daughter was there with her mum. When she originally got the tickets she was going through a wee punk/goth phase which she has now grown out of.

However, she text me this morning to say it was amazing and she loved it.

There was a real mix of people I was standing beside a wee granny who was in real danger of ending up in a mosh pit.
