You'll probably find a good chunk of the City Centre pubs are full of Jambos, was totally fine pre Celtic cup final in 2019 & they tend to be a bit more, *ahem*, hostile towards us. The biggest fuds among the Rangers support will probably go to their usual boozers ie the Loudon, Bristol Bar etc

Got the train - taxis are doable (got one for the 5-1 game) but obviously you'll need to be on the ball, could maybe book an Uber in advance or something? Trains fine though, fully segregated, their trains will go to Mt Florida, ours will go to Kings Park & we queue up & enter the station separately to them. Also probably wont have to buy a ticket because the barriers will probably be open due to the size of the crowd, so thats a win Edited April 27, 2022 by boag1874

neilnunb
If you get a taxi from the city centre just make sure you get dropped off at the right end of the ground. We got one for the St Mirren LC final and the plonker dropped us off at the MF end...had to run to make kickoff. Thought my cousin, who is quite a big lad, was going to have a heart attack 🤣

Weonly151
If anyone is maybe looking for a place to book a bus into. Try Titwood bowling club. I was there for the semi and they phoned me yesterday asking if we were returning for the final. My bus is already booked in somewhere else so there might be space for a bus there. If you want to drink around there consider the “Clockwork” brew-pub on Cathcart Road. It’s closer to Mount Florida. gashauskis9
I’m not going through on a supporters bus for the final, so need to find a boozer for me and the Mrs before the game. What are the best options for that side of town?. Before the LC semi a couple of years ago against that lot I just went to the Counting House, but are there any good options closer to the stadium. OmiyaHearts
Being a Glasgow southside resident for 20 years, I would recommend drinking in town. All the areas round about - Rutherglen, M Florida, Shawlands etc will be packed with huns. I don't think the Celtic pubs at the Gorbals will be welcoming either. Really depends on your bigot tolerance levels but I never drink in any pubs around Hampden when playing old firm. You can drink in town and get the train to the stadium in 10 mins, or walk it with a carry out in 35 mins.
