This would give us a greater opportunity at squad rotation though. It's something I've felt we could get better at, particularly up front. Covering injuries and suspensions last season was difficult enough, but there were also times where players who were a bit off form really should have been rested. Not sure that makes a lot of difference. Robbie wants a bigger squad and anyone who signs for us knows that they can't all get a game every week. Play one game and do well and give the manager a decision to make for the next game is how it works. Paying a fee is no guarantee to start games for any player. Says he is an attacking midfielder who can play left or right. Free kick specialist and good penalty taker. Said he is easily championship level in his opinion so should be excellent signing for us. Also would prefer to give Connor Smith a chance rather than GMS. Part of our success last season was a team of younger guys with things to prove. We have to trust them at some point.
