Russell Crowe, Mel Gibson, Sam Neil and even Kyie Minogue were all in that. Minogue was in another TV series just before Neighbours as well. Even Jason Donavon had 3 TV series and 1 TV Movie before joining Neighbours. You can't possibly say none of them would have made it without the show.
