Morgan
Real, gutsy, earthy flamenco is hard to beat. Best listened to in a smoky flamenco cellar rather than some tourist trap nonsense. Valencis, Seville and Madrid are tops. Really though, although Seville gets all the plaudits, anywhere is Andalusia is generally excellent. El Cabrero is one of the best artists we’ve ever seen. redjambo
The only one I've ever seen was in a cellar in Granada, with a guy dancing. It was fabulous, although my table was right next to the stage and it took my hearing a wee bit to recover as his dancing on the wooden floor combined with the close cellar walls created a (very enjoyable) racket. Good point. The louder the ‘racket’ the better. If you don’t get a fright and spill your Rioja, it’s not loud enough!
