What a shambles of a first half. Defending is amateurish and we can't score to help ourselves the own goal for us was just lucky. Neilson better get this sorted out because this is not good enough.

That was a weird first half of football. Not sure how we’re not just ahead, but not way ahead. Only have ourselves for blame though, Gnanduillet’s chances aside which were great keeper saves we’ve been very, very wasteful in the final third. Can’t cross a ball properly, not taking chances and wrong decision making when approaching the box or in the box. As I say, Gnanduillet prevented by a great keeper but GMS and McKay should have both at least hit the target never mind score. Kingsley making terrible cross/passing choices also. Positives would be Woodburn, McKay has had some flashes (but needs to show more) and Gnanduillet best player on the park so far.

GMS needs to start scoring, that was a terrible miss.

For such an experienced player he rarely seems to have any composure when he gets a chance. And seems terribly one footed when he does.

TINKER Nelson, thats why he just cant help himself.

It's what half of JKB were asking for and creaming themselves over pre match.

Crazy line up.

I understand its not just his fault but Gnanduillet is hopeless.

Gnando has been OK, crosses towards him have been poor.

Eh? Have you watched the game or at the game.

Had a great volley saved, a decent header saved and set up GMS who missed a sitter.

what exactly are you basing this on?

The majority of fans have wanted to change from a winning formation all season. They’ve also been wanting themselves into oblivion about the prospect of changing their he formation. Now once he does he’s criticised.

How is this Neilson’s fault? Set us up to win.

Gnando has looked our most dangerous player IMO. He's unpredictable in contrast to the rest of our attackers.

He's stuck to the same system all season and people have demanded more attacking players

He plays more attacking players and we're only half way through a game that we haven't lost yet and by all accounts should be winning and he gets it in the neck

😂

Easy choice, Haring on or give Devlin a chance, hook Mackay-Steven and push Woodburn further up.

It is the type of line up people have asked for.

If indeed we had taken out chances we’d have three or four.

but of course we are more open.

Defence is all over the place

Hardly surprising when you've ignored since April the need for a natural central defender.

Still have the second half but if we don't manage to get anything from this game then to be honest, it's been coming since the start of the season. Been concerned about the defending every game. We've got lucky in each of them this season due to Gordon being in goal.

he has to change the system straight away before anymore damage is done today

Watched last 25mins, both teams look like scoring when going forwards.

Defenders need to start defending.

Plenty players getting back, just no defending.

we back off, no tackles, beyond me.

Looking through this thread I get the feeling a lot of posters are not actually watching the game. Especially the misplaced criticism of Gnando. Confident we can turn this around.

And that's why we aren't run as a direct democracy. Who cares what people have asked for? We are far too exposed.

The fact is that we only have Smith who can even vaguely play right wing back (or even right full back really), and the decision not to sign someone else who can play there means that when he's not available we have a mental lineup like this.

Correct, good downward header on target forcing a decent save, other than that the crosses have been wank.

Nobody looks like they have a clue where their meant to be. All over the shop. Clueless. Beni & Haring have formed a bit of a partnership, why break that up? Even more so when we’ve got a make-shift right back.

No reason why McEneff could not be tried there. He’s got a good engine.

Bazzas right boot

Folk moaning about us being defensive for weeks are now suddenly moaning that we are too open

Unless we turn this around my fear is we revert to  a cautious slow,  sideways and backwards approach. Despite the defensive errors (which did not appear to be due to lack of numbers to defend) we have controlled play, denied County possession and chances I hope we can justify a more adventurous approach in the second half.

Far too wasteful in front of goal and at crossing.  The inability to bring in a goal scoring striker will come home to haunt us.  And why is Haring not playing?

Crosses have been shit, finishing been woeful. We’ve had chances. Boyce needs to get into box when wingers attacking always   hovers at the 18 yard line, should be a midfield runners job
