Prison Break Mafia: The hunt for SCYLLA

Seats

Recommended Posts

Roles

The Company (Goons) :

The General - Head of the Company, pulling all the strings.

Paul Kellerman - All round bad guy.  Field specialist posing as FBI

Gretchen Morgan - Field agent who specialises in torture and manipulation.

William Kim - Doesnt like getting his hands dirty.  Good at ordering others around.

Can talk together via pm. They can eliminate one person each evening. They win when they have a majority.

They have a superkill in this game which overrules any save used by the doc. Basically, one night they can get a free kill with no risk of it being blocked. This IS NOT an extra kill. It just overrides any saves.

Escapees (Masons):

Michael Scofield - Head of the break out group.  The brains behind the operation.  All round genius and general good guy.

Lincoln Burrows - Not the brightest, keeps getting himself framed for stuff he didn´t do and relying on Michael to rescue him.  Provides the brawn, but generally a good guy.

Fernando Sucre - Puerto Rican who tries his best but finds himself in unfortunate circumstances more often than not.  Loyal friend and someone who can be relied on.

Alex Mahone (Cop):

FBI agent initially spent his time hunting down the escapees, now turned to their side.  Uses his contacts to investigate a player each night.  Cannot communicate with the Escapees, but both he and they get the results of his investigation.

Sara Tancredi (Doc):

Having helped the escapees initially and fallen for Michael Scofield, Sarah is using her skills for the good of the town.  Can save one person each night, which will last through the next day (should the assassin feel a bit trigger happy). This person is then immune to any kill, with the exception of the goon superkill. Cannot save the same person on two consecutive nights.

T-Bag (assassin):

Nasty piece of work, sometimes helps the Escapees and sometimes the Company, but essentially in it for himself and no one else.  He will win if he is the last roled player.  Get's 3 kills at any time.  Bonus bullet available for hitting 3 roled players.

Whip (spotter):

T-Bag's illegitimate son (spoiler alert!).  Has 3 investigations, the result of which will go to T-bag and himself.  Can chat together.  If he spots 3 roled people, gets a bonus investigation.  If either T-Bag or Whip are killed, the other will be unable to live on his own and therefore will leave the game.

Don Self (Turncoat):

Homeland Security Agent, appears to be working to help the Escapees, but if the Company get hold of him, won't hesitate to join them (A normal townie but will become a goon if the goons try to kill them at night). The turncoat is considered unroled unless they are turned. They don’t know their role in the game. If the doc saves them while the goons try to turn them, the description on the main thread night sequence will simply be that the goons tried to kill them.

I will inform you all on the main thread if the turncoat is lynched.

Innocent bystanders (Townies 7):

Regular townsfolk who have no powers and just want their town left in peace from the Company who are aiming for World domination.

SCYLLA:

This is the piece of intelligence everyone is fighting over.  It can be used for both good and bad depending on whose hands it is in.  It will be given to a random player to begin with and they can choose to use it to investigate, save or kill each night.  Only they will get the results of the investigation.  Similar to the parcel in Shapes’ game, it cannot be discussed on thread or in chats.  You cannot pass it to a team mate and each night, as well as the action, the player must nominate the next player to pass it to.

Rules:

Anyone can vote and unvote for whoever they please. Please put all votes/unvotes in bold please E.G. vote GOFS/unvote GOFS. I won’t accept any votes/unvotes that aren’t in bold. Don’t edit any posts that contain a vote/unvote. These will be disregarded.

You can bluff or hint at your role in the game but if you outright tell anyone of your role, whether lying or telling the truth, then you will be modkilled. Everyone can of course claim to be just a townie.

I will deal with the night time activities in the following order: Doc-Informant-The Company-Assassin.

Can I ask all roled players to get their night choices into me ASAP.

First Deadline will be 8pm Wednesday. I will advise when the next deadlines are after the first one. Any votes/unvotes after I’ve called it will not count. So you mess about with your voting at your own risk.

Anyone who doesn’t vote will be banned from the following days voting. Unless an early lynch occurs.

Anyone who doesn't post will be modkilled and if people aren't contributing enough then I will give warnings.

You can chat during the night sequence. But only “come on town”, “well done goons” type chat. No game chat is permitted. I’ll punish players who misbehave at night. I will be strict with this as there has been a lot of night chat recently.

PMS coming out now.

Dr. Sheldon Cooper

Have never seen Prison Break but the themed games are generally interesting and good fun.

Would use BS etc etc.

I presume it won't be known who has the Scylla on day one?

Come on Riddley no need for a dodgy list so soon. Even Yvonne hasn't done one.

So after 2 games as Assassin and one as a goon I have finally got a townie role.

As Wee Jambo said last game "its hard being a goon", so much easier just being yourself.

Before he gets in and does as he promised I will get in first.

Nope.  Only the individual with it knows and they aren't allowed to say (to prevent a fiasco like Riddley last game 🤣)

Evening all :D

OK, I've never heard of Prison Break. Is it a TV show or a computer game?

Like the set up though - good luck Seats and GOFS

I'm always up for an early dodgy list to see if there's a reaction - thanks for doing so 👍

Same. Moved in with my 2 best mates from school when I was 19 in 2007 and we never had internet in the flat for some reason so the time not at uni was spent drinking tins of Strongbow and binge watching the first 2 seasons of Prison Break cause we had them on DVD 😂 Got me all nostalgic now... Great times 😂

It was massive in the early 2000's, the first 2 seasons were great then, season 3 was OK, season 4 sucked imo, then they did a return season a couple of years ago that wasn't that great

Used to annoy me when it would tell you what was going to happen in tonight's episode at the beginning, did it do that on did? I always watched it live on the Monday night ritually like game of thrones and the walking dead lol

Looked it up - it was a Channel Five programme. That'll be why I never gave it any consideration

I've been binge watching a few things over lockdown that I hadn't seen before - currently on Mr Robot series 1 - coincidentally there's been a prison break :D

Now then, chaps and chapesses.

BS on the menu? I'd have some of that if I was able to. Alack, I am a mere moocher around the prison yard, an extra who wouldn't even make the credits...

Can't investigate him but I can goon list him.

By the way - never seen Prison Break so any subtle nuances will go right over my head.

Well, there is a prison in them both and people trying to get out.  A definite level of ingenuity in both, but no motorbikes jumping fences or polite English phrases thrown in to trip them up in Prison Break.  The first two series are excellent and highly recommended.  After that it's still watchable but not as good and then downright far fetched at the end.

2) you're the person below me on the player list

3) someone with nothing to hide...
