The town, buoyed by some interesting revelations, chose the next person they thought was undermining their efforts. This was more than a stab in the dark. Which is funny, because that’s how they chose to do it. 
 

They found their quarry hanging about the bushes surrounding Unseen University and each took a turn to stab him with what they had on them. Those with something pointy had more success than those who had nothing other than pocket fluff to choose from. Or, in the case of the Librarian, some peanuts. Either way, they got their man. 
 

Stuart, the 3rd Auditor of Reality is Swiss cheese.

With the town satisfied that they were on the way to victory, someone let their guard slip. The last Auditor managed to convince someone that their efforts were noble and, coupled with a few Ankh-Morpork Dollars, they turned their victims head. The Turncoat has switched their allegiance. 
 

It’s a shame that, energised by his previous sale, CMOT Dibbler was off trying to force another Sausage Inna Bun onto another suspecting customer. Thankfully for them, he was distracted by a dropped dollar. 
 

Rincewind was bending the ear of the only person not quick enough to avoid him. But this person didn’t really need anything from him.

Yeah I thought that was a possibility as he said he was sure milky was a goon and nobody would know that apart from goons. Just was hoping he wasn’t as I don’t want to vote for him 🥺

Just throwing my own theory into the mix.

 

Dunks was the most vocal about my plan (in a negative way) about lynching one of Rudi or Sean as a way of stopping the turncoat being turned.  Conveniently enough, during the next night the turncoat is found.

 

Could be something, could be nothing.

All irrelevant now because of the turn. You've listed the 7 players to choose from and nothing posted before can be used in evidence. Apart from the original goon - Prince Goon himself.

 

Everyone else will claim to be a townie regardless.

I thought Dunks was a goon yesterday and nothing he has said since has convinced me otherwise. So for the time being.

I think we should look at list of players who could be the last goon from the start and then from those who were trusted as potential turn coat.
 

Vlad had a trust list which made me think he was a mason but clearly not now, but wasn’t a goon from the info from spotter. So as his trust list couldn’t be genuine it needs disregarded. 

 

From the original trust list from assassin and spotter they had

Rudi

(someone else I need to go back and check)

and obviously Peaky

 

i had the masons as Vlad, Sean and Dunks or Rudi 🥺

Nominations can take place at any time, however confirmation can't be given by a dead goon and not until after night has fallen.

So if i understand it correctly, bunny cant be the last goon if blocked by Dibbler, but could now be the turncoat. Doesnt really help us much. 🤔 i was confident bunny was a goon as well 😔

I don’t think would be on top to turn list as had a bit heat on him already, so I would put Bunny on almost trusted list.

The turncoat is almost always a trusted townie which would point to rudi Sean or vlad altho this can't be guaranteed it is a good place to start looking

It's tough to second guess who the remaining goons are. 

 

I've had suspicions on Dunks and Bunny from the start, although my confidence is a bit shot after Yvonne-gate. 

 

Would have gone for Rudi or Sean if I was a goon, but then they may have not been that obvious. The turncoat being taken is a huge pain the ass, basically.
