Well that was my initial reaction when my mate told me about it!

I was flabbergasted!

Unfortunately he was serious!

Sex Panther

Seem to remember a white Taxi that was driven by quite an eccentric old guy about 15 years ago.

Always had traditional Scottish music on in it. Quite sure it was tartan-clad too

I remember him and if I remember rightly he used to live just up from Ferryhill Primary School - ask someone from Drylaw if he still resides there

I'd forgotten about your Dad's leg. Good to hear he's doing OK after his op.

I remember him. He used to come into Wm Lows in Dmains when I worked there for his bottle of whisky. We used to laugh that he kept it under his drivers seat cushion.

I'm sure he always played bagpipe or county dancing music aswell. The yanks loved it.

Worked in there on the deli counter as a Saturday boy around 84/85. Good laugh and always plenty of Royal High birds. Used to go home during my lunch hour and because of handling all the stuff our dug would lick my hands for about 45 mins solid. Always scrubbed them thoroughly before going back for the afternoon mind. Well usually anyway. ;)

P.S. One cabbie once told me nobody liked the old guy cos he wouldn't rent out the tartan taxi to other drivers when he wasn't driving it himself.
