English Premier League.

It was a really clever performance by Everton. They overwhelmed Liverpool first 20/30 minutes but then conserved their energy and just contained them.

I've never really rated Sean Dyche but fair play. Times may improve now. New stadium next year too.

If carlsberg did rivals...

Keep telling my cousin, a Liverpool fan, that he's underachieved. All the cups he fielded reserve teams. All he cares about though is the fact he won them the league. Think I'd be pissed off personally. 😁

Definitely, he's average at best, they've also been up against the worst United team in close on 40 years, Chelsea have been in transition buying 87 players every year and Arsenal and Spurs keep bottling it. They had a great chance to have an amazing run but didn't.

Everton 8 points above the drop zone with 4 games to go.

Probably safe....???

8  points currently.   If they keep performing like tonight they will be safe.

A good way to say goodbye to Goodison.

Imagine Brighton won tomorrow. I know it will most likely be 4 to city but at least let me believe in May we could maybe still win the league 😂😂😂

I’d forgotten that Liverpool won the league cup as I thought Klopp was going to have a Walter Smith of a final season.

I wish Hearts had a manager as unsuccessful as Jürgen Klopp.

Arne Slot for Liverpool, not sure if any Dutch manager has succeeded in England strangely enough.

Gullit did OK with Chelsea and raised them a level during his time there.

Looks like Klopp will be finishing the season with the wee cup and at a guess 6 trophies in a decade, pretty poor return for the money spent.

Compared to Man U or Chelsea i think they’re ok.

Yeah but for aonme reason none were a overwhelmingly success, which is weird as the majority did ok elsewhere.

Since klopp joined in 2015 Chelsea and Liverpool have won the following trophies

Premier league

Both Liverpool and Chelsea once

FA cup

Both Liverpool and Chelsea once

League cup

Liverpool twice, Chelsea none

Champions League

Both Liverpool and Chelsea once

Europa league

Chelsea once, Liverpool none

World club cup

Both Liverpool and Chelsea once

At least for Chelsea that's a pretty close record

Not for Liverpool they didn't.

Good to see the elephant in the room being totally ignored by those saying Clop has underperformed.

Debut 4

It was like transporting a 1980s team and putting them up against todays Liverpool.

They struggled with the intensity of running and pressure Everton applied at many stages throughout the game.

It was great to see.

Indeed.  Everton were all over them and their defence was also outstanding.

On Klopp, Liverpool have dipped ever since he announced his retirement

They've actually dipped since he stopped playing the Kids in February/March. They provided fresh legs. As soon as the first team regulars have gotten fit they've dipped.

He went on a good run after he announced he was leaving, including lifting the league cup.

Diaz, Nunez and Salah have missed about 100 chances in the last 4 games.

Won the same amount of titles and FA cups as Leicester in his time there. He should be delighted he didn't come up against Fergie, his trophy haul would be poorer still.

Tbf, he's only competed against Pep Guardiola and his unlimited budget and the best Real Madrid side in recent memory. Thank god he's been here, without him the EPL would've been even more pish watching City pass every team to death while getting away with murder off the pitch.

Offiah on the bench tonight for Brighton vs Man City. Highly doubt he will get on the pitch but happy to see that he’s back fit again.

De Zerbi said they're still trying to qualify for Europe but looks like they are thinking about their summer holiday more.

They've been asking for that all game. I'd need about 10 pairs of undies to watch this mob.

They said on commentary De Zerbi brought that goalkeeper in for this game because he is "good with his feet".

They were doing ok passing around until Balebo decided to pass it back into the penalty area.   He should've turned and went forward.   Perhaps needed a shout.   So they're all at fault for that third goal.

🤦‍♂️

Sometimes, just lumping the ball up the park is the right thing to do.  If nothing else, the opposition won't score from there and you might get the break of the ball too.
