Probably more people in watching this game tonight than normally attend games between these two.

Certainly the canned atmosphere is louder than these players would normally hear

Rangers result aside that was  shite opening weekend. Wins for 4 of the scummiest clubs and the other tainted title mob draw.

The quality of football in our top flight has been in decline for years. There is no quick or easy fix to the problem.

It seems particularly bad this year though.

There's loads of random/rookie managers too and those honkin' macron kits complete the sunday league look.

Whether people agree with it or not, just about every football match in the World has been doing this for the best part of a month, if not longer.

I absolutely don't understand how those St Mirren players could possibly think the game was just going to start as normal.  Do they not even discuss it before the match, was there no instructions from the referee? Have they not seen any highlights or watched any football from literally any other league?  Why did half of their team do it, and not those kicking off?

It just looked an utter shambles, and sums up the fact that Scottish football runs inside it's own wee bubble, with their heads planted firmly up their own arses

They forgot to take the knee because Celtic forgot to remind them.

Standard in premier is shite, but wait til you see the championship ....

Pretty ******* off we managed to be bottom of that standard of league tbh

We had better be hammering teams out of sight this season. None of this “taking it easy in the second half” crap either - go for the kill.

Just watched the highlights and the Ross County penalty is never a penalty. The Motherwell defender clearly toes the ball away before the Ross County player goes over his leg (not suggesting it was a dive).

Referee points to the spot without a seconds hesitation, but I couldn't believe the BBC commentator coming out with "there's not too much doubt about that decision" after watching the replays. Is he blind?

Commentator on Aberdeen - Rangers showing his bias? - "great challenge there from Considine" just before the referee gives him a red card for a dangerous studs first challenge.

BBC just can't get the staff these days.

Absolutely abysmal standard of "football".

With that in mind, remember HMFC were bottom of that "abysmal" pile for a considerable time. Just saying.

Rumours flying around that 8 sheep players were in one of the bars now closed for the quarantine, Saturday's game in doubt. This surely won't be the only incident this season.

Snap 🤣

I actually like it when they start like this, reminds me of the Jim Duffy era a al Chic Charnley. 🤣

This is when the expectation rises and the natives get restless when a result goes against them.

Dont  know about winning leagues but we will probably have ours hands full with this lot in that bloody semi final, they have improved from last year.

They always seem to find strikers that score goals.

It's simple, find a balance in the middle of the park, get wide players with a bit of pace who will deliver balls into the box and any striker worth their salt will score goals.

Yet we hardly ever seem to find that balance or players.
