Maybe needs another line at the bottom from Dundee to Pars.

beautiful.  That club is going to the wall soon. No way are they surviving with that

What's happened to them off the park? I seem to recall growing up with Dundee being a pretty big club? Past few seasons it seems like they've genuinely got no fans.

If Maloney has put himself in the mix then perhaps he'll get something else.

im surprised any hearts fan needs to ask this question. Aside from the tiny little rat sending hi players out to unite as many hearts players as possible I’d refer to Sunday 1st of January 2006.

For decades  , what are you on about ?? , the game was weeks ago and Maloney was only at the club for a short (no pun intended) time

Interesting that the last two sacked Sunderland managers have ended up at Hibs, and the guy they wanted to replace Ross is doing a fine job there currently 😎

Think that was the one and only advantage of ending up in they group stages, about 3 weeks less of waiting for the season to start. Suppose the wait will be worth it though, European football sounds a little more appealing than the annual games against Cally Thistle and raith

Wonder if we'll have room in the schedule for a glamour July friendly like we used to? Maybe we can talk Gerrard into a match when Villa come calling for Simpson, or else it's the usual round of teams managed by John McGlynn and ex Hibs players.

Probably just a  typically lazy headline, given there's 2 sacked Hibs managers looking for a job.   Jack Ross would be a much better bet to turn them around  .... so lets hope they go for wee Shaun !!  :jambobanana:

Groups E, G and H look the toughest for the Premiership sides.   Group D looked boring  until Bonnyrigg got drawn.   Most exciting got to be group G.

Hopefully these games knock the stuffing out them all while we get a by.

Trips to QOTS and Annan are brutal for them! Why did they do away with regionalising it this season? Although it was a bit daft as we ended up at Peterhead a few years ago.

Think everyone was getting bored of the same teams every year, was very few variation going on with the seedings and regional sections.  From what I can gather a large majority of squad for teams like Elgin, Peterhead, Montrose, Arbroath work and live in the central belt and train in the central belt so they actually prefer the away games.

Scrapped it this year for some reason. Would rather they did that before now from a fans perspective. Our 'regionalised' bracket was often brutal.

Only other job in Scotland available is Airdrie.

As for down south, Blackburn, Burnley, QPR, Barnsley, Charlton, Forest Green, Barrow, Crawley and Hartlepool are all looking for managers.

Barnsley and Charlton would be my guesses.

Aye it was mental. Tuesday/Weds up in Elgin, Peterhead, Fraserburgh because we were in the North Section.

Decent jaunts up but **** me, a long journey back.

I kinda got why they put us in it as we have the money as a club to afford these bigger trips, unlike say Edinburgh City who sort of need the South bracket, but aye from a fans perspective it was pretty murder.

Still never recovered from that midweek trip to Peterhead.

Now he's left Hibs I can say Ross is plenty good enough for a decent League One team.
