It's a red, as we've seen Rangers have missed the pen so Killie get away with it in terms of the scoreboard. Although I think football should take note from Rugby and the penalty try option.

Rangers would have got the goal automatically and Killie would get a yellow card - and we get on with the game.

He’s made an attempt to play the ball, therefore penalty and yellow card. Weird decision for me

It's a handball. How can you attempt to play the ball with a handball. Laws clearly state that a handball is still a red card

One of the best penalty saves I've seen. And they tried to find a reason to re-take it.

I thought keepers had to be on their lines at all time in fairness. I thought the rule for them being behind their line had changed as they could spring forward like Killie’s keeper did to get an advantage

I think it’s pretty clear that most on here do, but 55,000 thick raging rangers fans having a meltdown is very entertaining

Only one foot has to be on or behind the line

As long as foot is above line though haven't seen it again.

Again because Kenny Miller doesn't know the laws of the game.

Miller wasn’t commenting on  the laws of the game I’d say, more natural justice. The laws might say that’s a red card, but they shouldn’t.

I don't want the Orcs to do anything , prefer they win but not going to cheer for them .

Deserve the right to enjoy the own goal they lost and the laugh at how the Var guy is doing his best for them.

Popped onto Paddy power to see the odds on Rangers being awarded a penalty... Before I could even log on they were awarded one.

That doesn't make sense. It's clearly a red card.

Oh look. Kilmarnock are 0-1 up at Ibrox and somehow managed to survive the opening five minutes without conceding a goal. Obviously it can be done.

Anyway. Rangers continue to look inept.

Worth making their own subs now.

The Rangers player involved in the handball incident looked offside when the ball was initially played thru. How can he not be interfering with play at that point? It's the same offside position he runs in from, to challenge for the ball, resulting in a penalty and red card.

Agree it was then a penalty, but find the red card harsh as he was clearly off balance when it hits his hand.

Not losing to Kilmarnock can be done too. Maybe Clement should have spoken to Naismith this week.

He wasn't offside. Being near to being offside isn't offside.

I don't want Rangers to win. I couldn't care less who wins at Parkhead next weekend either. Both clubs can FO and die as far as I'm concerned.

That's not true. Double jeopardy only applies to an attempt for the ball. Handball is mentioned explicitly in the LOTG as being a red card

Ahh, never knew handball was treated differently,  as the handball was not intentional and he was going for the ball I thoughts double jeopardy would apply

Is every handball ball in the Box a red, i don't t think they are, be interesting to find out when it's a red and when it's not.

It makes perfect sense because it wasn’t a deliberate action. There wasn’t much else Wright could do. The laws of the game shouldn’t be handing out such harsh punishments for accidental incidents.

I know. Though, we were on course for a rare 3 points at Ibrox until Haring's wee brainfart earlier in the season.

I'd like Rangers to win. Then they win the old firm game.

Then last game against us...somehow the results mean they only need a point.....VAR awards us a penalty in the 94th minute. We score, win and it costs them the title.

How on earth you can get POTY for being the biggest beneficiary of Penalty to Rangers gets my goat. Only our resident hun sycophant can be on board with such pathetic bias.

Every single ****ing moment that can be scrutinized in their favour, will be. Like how Goldson can play basketball and tug-of-war in his own box and never appear in a VAR check but damn right they spot these infringements by opposition players.
