Let me explain, every time a challenge went in , rangers “expected” a foul to be given and lost their shape. Benfica kept their shape until the officials whistle went. Most of the time Scottish refs would have given the rangers foul but continental refs play the “ actual” rules and don’t seem to get influenced by the crowd. Ironically the 2 of them being in the Europa or Conference League may actually help the co-efficient more as they are far likelier to both pick up points in that than they are in etc Champions league, as Ranger shave shown regularly. Footballfirst Posted March 14 Share Posted March 14 (edited) By my reckoning, Plezen's draw tonight only adds 0.25 to the Czech coefficient, leaving them still 0.25 behind Scotland. However, the Czech side only need a draw in either leg of their quarter final to move ahead of Scotland in the rankings and the starting points in season 25/26. Lets hope they draw Liverpool or similar. As others have said it doesn't really affect Scotland's 3rd place/Cup winners qualifying prospects until Scotland drops below 12th, although Scotland's coefficient starting point next season will be 16th.
