BBB!

Had one of those for lunch.

Swweeeeeet.

Also the curry one is fantastic.

The joys of lock down. Little effort and being a slob. 🤭

Oh ffs, BBB was bombay bad boy! I need to get down with the lingo!

Aye, I've had a few of them at work, That hot sauce is lethal!

Thoroughly decent but once you've drank the left overs.... pissing wae sweat.

I know I'm polluting your thread, bud but for more refined gentlemanly dining these are  ...  :quitegood:

I am partial to a chicken&mushroom or a good old beef&tomato.

But to be honest I'd rather just make pasta a olio aglio e peperoncini.

Boil pasta. Whilst that's on the go, finely slice 1 clove of garlic and 1 red chilli. Add to a glug of olive oil in a cold pan. Warm it slowly as the pasta cooks. Splash in a bit of pasta cooking water, stir to emulsify, add the drained pasta, stir again, serve.

A classic post-pub italian scran.

Don't mind if I do ....

These were a regular feature at lunchtime i the AJ household, though I'm not sure how easy they are to get in the UK (I've not seen them anywhere, anyway).

Softer, better textured noodle; ~ 80p at a supermarket near you! :dabiz:

Chuck an egg in to take the edge off.

For those on a budget, however, you can't go wrong with these wee packets of noodle heaven.  :sweeet:

Curry or Beef & Tomato. A few drops of hot sauce in the latter to give it a wee kick.

Pot Noodles are one of life’s guilty pleasures.

I can't stand the BBB. My usual choices are either beef and tomato or original curry. Used to love the tex mex ones but haven't seen them for years. They have either stopped making them or it is to do with living up here in Lewis.

Got a few BBB in the cupboard.

Had a curry pot rice and it was inedible.  A couple of minutes after putting the hot water in it turned into a thick gluey mush. Threw it away - tried but couldn't eat it.

I always have a chicken and mushroom one in Minehead on our annual trip. You have to at least pretend you fit in at Butlins.

Sadly I'll be missing out this year.

Luckily Pot Noodles were on Mrs L's list when she was doing her corona panic buying. We have several...

To me, they've never been quite the same since they stopped putting the wee soya protein bits in them.

The curry one is the only respectable alternative.

Only one I like, I sometimes make Chicken Noodle Soup.

Empty the pot noodle into a pot add chicken, extra curry powder and extra water, result chicken noodle soup, lovely.

Chicken and mushroom or beef and tomato but nutritionally, throw away the contents and eat the box. Better for you.

BBB, Curry, Beef and Chicken are all perfectly fine.

Some good flavours have sadly departed us over the years. Pizza, barbecue, streaky bacon. RIP.  :(

Super Noodles are pretty handy too.

Beef super noodles topped with canned tuna and mayo is a surprisingly tasty combo.

As is bacon flavour with mixed peppers and hot sauce.

I love having chicken super noodles on toast with grated cheese. Stick under grill to melt the cheese, lovely.

These are by far the best cup noodle, readily available in scotland anyway.

Was about to post the same

Chicken and Mushroom with very little water, the thick gloop went on 2 buttered rolls and washed down with Irn Bru and a cuppa tea (my 1990's hangover cure).

Chicken and Mushroom with extra soy sauce added. Think they reduced the salt a few years back, so it needs the extra lift.

you definitely need it if it is one of the king pot noodles as the normal and the king size ones come with the same sized soy sauce sachet
