Jack is a good player, but a dirty little ned prick.

Same as Arfield.

Would love this type of player in our team.

I think the yellows were probably right.

I've not seen the incident in the first half when Aidy White got a bloodied nose. Him and the Rankgers player were on the ground, and White seemed to indicate an elbow had been thrown at him.

Mental. After watching it back it could have been a red. Reminded me of joe ledleys red at tynie years ago when we beat Celtic 2-0

Correct, folk justifying it by saying it wasn't a clear goal scoring opportunity are ignoring the fact it was serious foul play, straight red would have been justified.

Its a knee high challenge, taking both legs, reckless and endangering a player, so late the balls not on the screen , how Hearts fans can argue it's 'just a yellow' is beyond me.

Henderson was clean through had Flanagan not taken him out and no one was catching him.

 booking was correct imo.

These bookings were exactly the decision we're talking about when we talk about refs being more lenient on the OF. We all know at least one of those should have been a red, and would have been if it had been our player making the challenge. Gerrard knew it too, which is why he took them off.

One of the most one-sided reffing displays I've seen in what was a very even entertaining game on the whole, which makes the win even sweeter.

I thought the ref gave them every 50-50 call.

The ref gave them every 70:30! Sky were too embarassed to put the foul count up with the possession %; Shots; On target and Corners stats...BBC put them up 18:7 so we committed a foul every 5 mins v Rangers every 13, yet we had the ball for 50mins v their 43...so if you factor in the possession we committed a foul every 2.4 mins that they had the ball versus their every 7.15 mins on us...A full 1:3 ratio

That type of player in a Hearts jersey would not last long on the pitch!

'Smith's right boot' wouldn't be referring to any Smith associated with Hearts, Hibs or Dundee I take it?

My profile pic answers that.

Rangers player yellow. Hearts player red.

Bit of truth in that tbh.

See as like.. a general rule the SFA should be coming down hard on these hatchet man types - Jack, Brown, Darian McKinnon, Bartley - They seem to spend the time bullying the youngsters (or trying).

If we ever want to improve the quality of our game chasing off the glorified thugs would be a good start.

II Henderson took Jack out at Ibrox with a similar tackle it would be a straight red and not a single person in the media would raise a question against it.

The BBC would be talking about it for weeks.

Jack was booked. Correct decision.

Flanagan was booked. Correct decision.

Flanagan not booked for foul on White. Incorrect decision.

No penalty given for Polster handball. Correct decision.

If you ignore the rules like the ref did, then you are correct.

Flanagan was last man I think? Flattened Henderson without touching the ball, Henderson clear run ahead of him. Surely a red? But no footage anywhere to see it

Can you elaborate? If Clare's was a red why isn't Flanagans?

Both attackers clean through unless foiled.

Was about 35-40 yards out and I think there was a Gers player covering. Would've been a 2 on 1 for sure but think a yellow was fair.

Mind you he's a wife beating prick so red all day for that.

Covering defender for rangers.

Big stretch to say that was a goal scoring opportunity.

I won't get excited about it.

20 yards further forward and/or  no covering defender near, then a red.

Tbh, it was a good booking to take.

Foul on Henderson in the video above looks a yellow card.

It's a late foul but it's not reckless (i.e. no studs high up).

The foul by Flanagan, I wanted a red at the time but yellow was correct.

He's 40 yards from goal and whilst he could have had a great chance to score, it's not denying a clear goal scoring opportunity.
