MoncurMacdonaldMercer
there has been an override to the guidelines/laws from day 1 in that people are allowed to carry-out journeys and tasks which are considered “necessity” even although they may not be specifically covered in the guidelines or more relevantly for here in the media in full lockdown people were allowed to take their dogs for a walk but if you owned a herd of goats 6 miles away (but were not deemed an agricultural worker) it was expected you would not just let them die if they needed some level of care - you were allowed to make that journey and carry out that task - you were even allowed to do it if you had covid (albeit only if all other reasonable options had been exhausted) those tasks and journeys have always been allowable but have to be carried out implementing social distancing hand washing etc all true - so not that anyone here will be jumping to conclusions - but just in case when you see your neighbour (or enzo) apparently breaking the rules and indirectly definitely killing the older generation and more vulnerable - ask yourself do they have goats and are they implementing the correct bio-security? It might all be good and legal after all

The problem is lockdowns don’t actually solve anything. It’s not a solution. By govts own admission it’s a simple tool to use.
