Great player and defender and would maybe make a good coach, as his presence no doubt helped Webster and Berra develop while here but he's a terrible manager

RobNox
I'm just surprised that he keeps managing to get jobs while his managerial record is shite. I have a feeling he will be sacked fairly soon and probably won't get another job, unless he ends up at a lower league Scottish club. According to Wiki, their current manager is vacant.

mitch41
Elvis has not had the best of luck at Carlisle and he will know himself that his job hangs by a thread. Since he has been a manager at Falkirk, Coventry City, Fleetwood Town, Pafos & Carlisle he hasn’t been thought of as a good up and coming manager. Elvis is 46 and he might just be coming to the end of his managerial career by the way it’s going.

That's true. On the pitch he appeared to have everything required to make that transition. On the odd occasion when he was out through injury we missed his leadership and presence terribly (could be describing Naisy). Loved Elvis as a player. He clearly loved Hearts in return. So much so that he was prepared to speak out and risk it all instead of saying nothing about the chaos Romanov often caused. I admired him for that. Then and now.
