Hardly a surprise he’s a terrible manager.

Definitely talks like a manager

Talks in clichés. His record as a manager is beyond poor. Great player and defender and would maybe make a good coach, as his presence no doubt helped Webster and Berra develop while here but he's a terrible manager

I'm just surprised that he keeps managing to get jobs while his managerial record is shite.  I have a feeling he will be sacked fairly soon and probably won't get another job, unless he ends up at a lower league Scottish club.

Might only be a matter of time. Carlisle have lost all 4 league games this month and have a trip to Leyton Orient next.

Fickle feckwits harking back to the mid 70s.    Looking at their recent history, Caretaker appears to be their most popular  manager.

According to Wiki, their current manager is vacant.

Yup!

Don't know why we don't use that 2006 thread.

Three times last season Carlisle were the only let down on my coupon. Useless feckers.

Port Vale were my coupon busters. Don't go near them now - not that it's made much difference - still win feck all.

Elvis has not had the best of luck at Carlisle and he will know himself that his job hangs by a thread.

Since he has been a manager at Falkirk, Coventry City, Fleetwood Town, Pafos & Carlisle he hasn’t

been thought of as a good up and coming manager. Elvis is 46 and he might just be coming to the

end of his managerial career by the way it’s going.

Same boat. Swerved Carlisle as a matter of routine this season but still won £0.

They were. Not sure if Danny Grainger is still there but a wee while back, with him as captain, they did seem to be consistent winners.

Fickle feckwits, I think that’s just football fans in general to be honest.

It wasn’t good last night. Carlisle are poor this season I thought he’d be gone this morning.

Orient on Saturday, need a win or that’s it. Need a change at board level also.

Getting rid of a failing manager?

I wonder what that's like.

Sometimes it’s just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Although Elvis hasn’t got many more throws of the dice.

Jack Bonham was on loan but now plays for Gillingham.

Adam Collin has returned to Brunton Park and trying to save  Carlisle from further/heavier defeats.

Meant to say on Tuesday night Northampton played in their traditional maroon and white kit and it’s very smart.

Aye, I seen that on Border News Lookaround we get down here ...smart strip, they were asking fans coming out ground what should happen to Pressley and it was "sacked !"...

Cutting his teeth at Workington Town currently but if Carlisle came calling he couldn't turn it down.

Maybe a year too soon if Pressley gets turfed, as looks likely.

yep he has workington flying at the moment

Tom Hardy’s Dug

It’s funny because whatever your thoughts of him Presley was a player that you thought would be nailed on to be a successful manager.

With a cv full of failures he must be brilliant at interviews to convince a Chairman he's the man for their club. And to think some on here wanted him to manage Hearts. 🙄

That's true. On the pitch he appeared to have everything required to make that transition. On the odd occasion when he was out through injury we missed his leadership and presence terribly (could be describing Naisy).

Loved Elvis as a player. He clearly loved Hearts in return. So much so that he was prepared to speak out and risk it all instead of saying nothing about the chaos Romanov often caused. I admired him for that. Then and now.
