All roads lead to Gorgie
I would still be calling for them to go if they were so inept as a boss as Levein. No matter how loyal a man as a player or manager has been in the past the club come first and we are stuck in a rut right now. Go now Craig. graygo
This is just another Levein out thread isn't it? Keeps the mods busy I suppose.

Just about no matter how big a hero you are if you are not performing as a manager then you are not immune from being removed from that position. What do I expect? I expect that if anyone wants to vent about how Levein has to go then they add it to one of the many threads that already exist on that subject. Pretty sure that's how things are meant to work on here.

Most sane managers (in fact pretty much all managers) don't walk about from many thousands of pounds, and wait to be sacked for their contract to be paid up. Kiwidoug
I very much doubt we would be in this position with either of them.
Masonic
deep into the endgame in a completely losing position to fight on is futile its not like he can win on time like a blitz or bullet chess game
132goals1958
When he does go it should not diminish his status as a club legend. By a country mile he was the best central defender to wear the famous maroon jersey in over 65 years I have followed the team. Billy Mc Neill, John Greig and Pat Stanton were illustrious figures who fell on their sword managing the clubs that they served admirably. Always sad to see one of your own pressurized and losing support which regrettably now seems irretrievable.
mac
He should just fall on his sword, and commentate on gardening - loved CL the player, but he's wearing too many hats - this is ending in tears 😪
