Chester seems to be taking a hard line with drink driving. I am personally aware of  another recent case in Chester  of a school teacher who was given a 3 month suspended prison sentence for driving the wrong way down a one way street, almost hitting a member of the public who tried to stop her , hitting a car and driving off , going into hiding to avoid police. She admitted being in a night club before hand but said she wasn't drinking.  Don't drink and drive if you're in/near Chester.

Too lenient as far as I'm concerned. He'll probably be out in a week or two at most.

Guys a dick.  If he had taken the test he would have got a ban for 18 months and a fine.  He was blitzed, polis had to prop himn against his car,  When ypu think you are bigger than the law you end up with a good spanking.

he will appeal it and probably do no time in jail

I'm certain TalkSport and their parent company will prioritise positive attitudes to offenders and their rehabilitation.

Apparently arrogant and a ‘do you know who I am?’ attitude according to the judge. Dickhead

Won't be at the cricket now. Horrible little liar and his disrespect for Cloughy is inexcusable.

I'm not that fussed about him but I thought he was okay on Talksport, some good stories to tell and is fairly knowledgeable about the game.

Is Saunders the gadge that got off with his car parking fines back home as he was away working at the Euros and didn't expect Wales to last so long in the tourney?

fair enough chief, just that Ive heard him a few times now on with Brazil in the mornings and found him to be
a bit of a truculent type that likes to pull punters up when midchat....hes quite abrupt and unsettling...
in my advancing years and having the radio on while I work nearly all day,I suppose every punter on the radio pisses me off at some point.

No problem at all mate.

When it comes to cutting folk off mid chat, Jim White wins that prize.

I remember he was on Question of Sport years ago and asked when he had made his Wales debut. His answer, "Errrrr, I can't remember". Strange one.

yes back in 2005, here's a snippet from the Herald

JIM White, the Sky Sports presenter, was banned from driving for a year and fined pounds-750 yesterday after admitting a charge of refusing to take a breathalyser test.

The 47-year-old football pundit was stopped by police while driving in Church Street, Glasgow, on June 2 last year.

When taken to a police station in Partick, he told officers:

"I'm providing f****** zero."

White, of Hughenden Gardens, Hyndland, Glasgow, had been asked to provide two breath specimens to determine his ability to drive.

His lawyer, Ken Waddell, told Glasgow District Court:

"He did have certain reasons for not providing a sample of breath, but these do not amount in law to a reasonable excuse

Cheers man.

Talksport, the haven for idiotic drunk drivers.

My mate, also an idiot, got done years ago, but he willingly provided a breath sample and he got a similar ban and fine. How?

That’s incredible and doesn’t send out a very good message.

As an aside, Sky continuing to employ Carragher is fairly disgusting.

This. He's just sauntered back on like butter wouldn't melt too. You'd think a guy in his shoes would be a bit more humble.

Also, good news about Dean Saunders. Slavering auld *******. Arrogant ringpiece of a man.
