Paisley Jambo
Zammal is not of the standard required. Not sure Doyle is either. Would be much better off with Craig Gordon if he becomes available.

If he has stayed in the middle and the utd player had beaten him at his near post you would have all slated him for that 😂 I get that but he should still not have ventured into no man's land. It wasn't a 1 on 1 so didn't need to get drawn out leaving an empty goal.

What folk are failing to realise is that Bobby actually comes to anticipate a shot by Stanton and the reason he moves forward from his near post is because if Stanton hits it, Bobby saves the ball and it goes safe, either wide, over to the right touchline or whatever because he’s narrowed the angle. It cannot go in off him whatever happens. If he stands on his post and the shot comes in, there is a likelihood of him saving it but the ball going towards to center, the edge of the box into danger or in off him at his near post. The simple fact of he matter is, that ball should have got nowhere near Stanton or Shankland in the first place. Yet it’s all Bobbys fault. Un-feckin-believable this place. Really good you giving us also the different scenarios but you omitted the one where Stanton draws out the keeper, then crosses ball for Sankland who has NOBODY to beat. The save he made in the second half was a great reaction save. He isn't a shite keeper, like some folk want to make out. He isn't exactly Craig Gordon in his prime but great goalkeepers are hard to find. How folk expect us to just pick up a very good keeper, for free out of thin air, I just don't know. ramrod
Bobby is a journeyman at best . We need better . We should be expecting to have one of the top three goalkeepers in the league .

Bazzas right boot
The debate isn't only about this goal, surely? Goalies don't get punted on a game to game basis. Over last season, Bobby is OK. Capable of really good saves but is generally unorthodox and is prone to mistakes and rash decisions. What is telling imo is when you look at the rest of the league. Celtic, rangers, Aberdeen and St Johnstone all have better keepers. Bobby is on par with maybe the Killie, livi and Hibs keepers. Although, on the limited views I have had the livi and Killie keepers imo are more steady and reliable. If we want to be a top 3 club, we need more top 3 players, imo we could improve on Bobby but midfield is more a priority atm. Berra, Souttar, Naismith and Smith are all top 3 club players. Mulraney, Uche, Lee, Likley Washington alll comfortably top 6. Bobby, as above isn't comfortably a top 6 club keeper and imo definitely not better or even nearly as good as the keeper at the 4 clubs I mentioned so we could improve on him and imo Likley will next season but the midfield is priority. If we improve the midfield, then imo our keeper, depending on our lb situation would be our weakest position. He never stood a chance when Edouard was allowed to run through unchallenged. He crumbled to easily as he does with most 1 on 1 situations Worst keeper I have seen at Pens and 1 on
