Do the Rangers players get a medal for that?

Can't help thinking we would be doing the same.

That very late goal will put a few quid in the Rangers coffers.

Nonsense, we would all be half way home by now.

It’ll help - especially since there’s a 2nd punishment due tomorrow.

There’s a surprise, you appear, chugging yourself into a frenzy as the Huns score.

Not if they have a full stadium ban for the next 2 games.  and that's the next level of punishment that is potentially at the end of the new UEFA Charge.

Keep them both occupied mid week.

Pity there’s nobody in the league capable of taking advantage.

Think this could be bad for rangers, probably would have done them good to only have domestic football to focus on

No complaints at the use of flares tonight? Someone in there might have a ticket throat.

That Pope banner is epic, by the way. The amount of effort that some clubs go into is incredible.

Quite right, Nookie.

Selective seethe !

Some of Legia’s Tifos are amazing.

Pope one tonight, hysterical !

It should add maybe £8m+ to their coffers from merit payments for reaching the group stages, points bonuses, plus another three full houses (notwithstanding any further sanctions). That's in addition to what they will have earned during the qualifying rounds

This is classic Celtic deflection

https://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/17869460.celtic-claim-swedish-fans-infiltrated-away-support-spark-violent-scenes-cops-aik-clash/

Celtic have launched an investigation after rival Swedish fans stormed the away section at the Friends Arena and became embroiled in a violent battle with cops.

Flares were ignited during the Europa League clash by fans in the Celtic end of the ground.

Police were also filmed battering supporters with batons as a melee erupted at half-time.

Hoops fans were caught up in the violence but their club have vigorously defended their support by insisting Swedish fans infiltrated the stands.

A spokesman for the Scottish champions said: "We are aware that a number of Swedish supporters entered the area for visiting fans and we are currently investigating events."

Now I know where Boris gets his ideas from

It looks like Celtic are in pot 2, with Rangers in pot 3, although that has not been officially confirmed yet.

You do get a lot of Swedish fans wearing balaclavas and sunglasses right enough

I take it it's not possible for Celtic and Rangers to get drawn in the same group?

Imagine the embarrassment that would cause to UEFA, broadcasting both sets of ******s giving it some sectarian laldy across the World?

No, not in group stage or last 32 if they got through. Could if they both got to last 16.

With now 6 more opportunities to affront themselves and UEFA to affront the SFA.

Is it just me or does that look weak this season.

Looking forward to Wolfsburg Wolverhampton and  Wolfsberg drawn together

remember oldco went back there after the 08 riots and no huns were allowed in the city. Bussed direct to the stadium and bussed out.

Wolfsburg meeting Wolfsberg would be wonderful and a dash of Wolverhampton would top it off

Dunno, must have been Champions league. I recall they were bussed in and not allowed to set foot in the city centre by the Manc council.

Bussed directly to and from Old Trafford via a base in Wigan.

Nah I'm sticking with Celtic getting on really well with Lazio

Lazio play AC Milan in the Italian Cup on Wednesday.

Don't recall, but imagine they must have been escorted right into the stadium. There's one or two decent fitba and cricket boozers  in Old Trafford , can't imagine those animals being allowed to roam loose around there. Have to say I've always enjoyed any visit to that area, although the last time was 2003, at the cricket ground, for a Bruce Springsteen show, so it may well be a lot different now.

See Basel, Feyenoord and Ferencvaros could be drawn in the same group, with Celtic a possible 4th team.

That’s at Piazzale Loreto in Milan before a Coppa Semi last season.

Those rascals came up and had a wee demo as it was the anniversary of Mussolini’s death.

They’re a bad lot !

Very prudent of UEFA to keep Celtic FC and Young Boys apart.

Hope Newco get drawn against Man Utd.

A trip to Manchester by the team that bought old Rangers must be written in the stars.

Please. Pretty please.

They’ll be playing their home game behind closed doors as there was plenty bigotry tonight.
