superb achievement - how lucky we were that she was around and willing to step up to the mark at exactly the point when she was needed most.

One of Edinburgh’s main football clubs”?    Ahem.

Edit:  Sorry.  Forgot about Edinburgh City.

Good for her and her work for not only Hearts but the local community.

Thoroughly deserved recognition for her and all those who help her.

You can't keep a good West Pilton lassie down.

Well done Ann Budge. Very well deserved.

Very well deserved. I'd also like to see Her Maj hand out an award to Ann Budge at some point as her contribution to business has been outstanding.

Thoroughly deserved and testament to the sheer scale of progress she has achieved for Heart of Midlothian FC and the community. Ann has earned the right to expect respect and trust from all of us.

She’s not. Royston Mains is the truth.

I didn’t read the article so didn’t realise it was her that quoted it. I’ve certainly heard her mention Royston Mains in the past in interviews. Maybe they moved as I’d imagine if you live in West Pilton the glamour and bright lights of Royston would be hard to resist.

Nah I'm sure you're right on the Royston thing.

All great but please can we start getting footballing awards!

It's an award for Ann Budge, not Hearts. Pay more attention before you start greeting.

Well done Ann. Absolutely deserved.

But the only success we are seeing under her is on her mantlepiece.

Got anymore ice cubes?

Very well done Ann and fully deserved. She helped save our club and without her input I’d hate to think where we’d be right now. Eternally grateful ??HHGH

Well done Ann and richly deserved.  So glad she got involved when she did when it would have been so much easier to swan around the world on her yacht enjoying an opulent and leisurely retirement.

Some of us have lived in both and some of us are still Royston. Actually the club news article that says Ann is from West Pilton.

Lucky doesnt cover it.

Really hope she knows how appreciated she is by most of us.

Still hard to believe what she has managed to achieve and the hours she has put in.

Gets very little recognition imo from Scottish sport press.

If not her, our FM will be on hand.

They're tight.
