Craig Herbertson
Need Hearts games soon otherwise I end up like this. Suddenly for no reason at all I thought of George Fleming. Anyone else suddenly think of a player out of the blue. If so name him. The funny thing is I looked him up and found he managed Arbroath later on in his career. Bridge of Djoum
Vincent Guerin. I was thinking recently about players from a while back who ended up at clubs you'd never had thought possible. Guerin and Sauzee were 1st to spring to mind. Who'd have thunk when seeing them in their pomp they's end up at Tynie and Easter Road? Ravanelli, Cannggia at Dundee, also. It just totally reminded me of watching the Grzelak video. A few wee tricks and things, but a really poor level of opponent, and the game being played at about a quarter of the speed ours is. Cletus has age on his side though, so he might adapt. I really need us to sign a proven good quality player soon. ? Celtic League Cup tie in August '89. McCreery, apparently, was highly impressed by both the crackling atmos and the quality of the Hearts team. Made his debut at Dens soon after iirc. I think he left during, or at the end of the '90/91 season.
