Normally i’d be absolutely gutted about losing a key player but if we get 5million for Soapy and he’s progressing his career, I’d be delighted with that and the majority of that money being re-invested in the squad.

Its far from a done deal and not entirely sure how it would be set up but I'm hearing there is something in the McCann rumour .

He also says he is currently working on 4 new signings.

We wont get more that £3m for Soapy in my opinion. Not with a decent sell on clause too

I think two things will happen this week; CL will give his usual end-of-season press conference, summing up the season and looking forward. AB will give an end-of-season statement, focussing on ST sales, and the progress with the new stand.

 

Not expecting anything else, and definitely not ITK.

Spoke to SMc at a game yesterday. Guy who runs Linton hotspur was having a testimonial/ charity fund raiser and they went to school together. Never seen anyone so gutted he was knackered and could hardly move his legs. Nice guy very happy to speak but didn’t want to see highlights says it hurts too much. Certainly gave nothing confidential away but didn’t give impression he wouldn’t be there next year, also praised the fans highly. He also donated shin pads training top from final for auction raised £250 for cancer charity

Could certainly do with something to pick the support up. Had a season ticket every year since 1992 and will no doubt end up renewing but am in absolutely no rush.
