Thought Edwards was great today, as were most of the team. You have to wonder why it’s taken so long for Levein to involve.

Very impressed with him today. Did what we hoped (I guess) when we signed him... full of energy, great engine and closing down, and grabbed a nice finish too!

Hope we see more of him next season.

Clare was allowed to play through his troubled settling period, wasn’t he?

So Is he through his settling In period ?

Given Edwards attitude and display today,he should be ahead of Clare,In the race for a starting place

I don’t understand Clare.

He must be one one of those players that coaches want to encourage, but I just do not understand what he brings.

KyleLafferty

Reminds me of Don Cowie, leaves everything out there, full of energy and doesn’t give up. Not the best technically but what he provides energy wise is first class. Deserves next season.

Madness it took so longfor him to get his place in the team, he seems like lightening in comparison to Olly Lee.

Well done Ryan.

Edwards was class and should be involved next season along with Haring and Cochrane/Smith/Irving

Absolute Scenes

Seeing the joy in his face scoring his first goal for us in that manner. just amazing.

really hope he plays a big part next season. Him and Naismith behind Uche could be exciting

I’ve said from the start Edwards would be a good signing for us.

I know we signed him when it looked like we weren’t getting Clare. We obviously did and Edwards - it appears- was seen as surplus to requirements.

I personaly think he brings an energy and desire we have been sadly lacking since the SPH day’s.

Edwards will improve and so will Hearts as a result.

Dr Ian Malcolm

Not sure he'll be a regular starter but he's shown he can be replied upon to come in a do a specific job for certain games.

Might mean that some others will be moved on. maybe Bozanic and Lee ?

Lee certainly. There is a place in the squad for Bozanic in my opinion.

As others have said along with Hickey he was our best player.

Great tenacity, good engine, looks fairly quick and showed guts. Exactly the type of player we have been crying out for the second half of the season.

Definitely deserves a chance next season. Him and Haring in the centre of midfield will do for me.

Agreed.

I'd be happy if Lee were to disappear. Guy just isnt up to it.

Bozanix can be quite clever and well capable of calming things down but he does lack pace like most of our MFs.

Pace is what we really need.

Cruyff Turn

He could be very much like Paul Hartley. Box to box goalscorer.

Edwards and Mulraney have been good finds from a bad injury situation.
