There's been a few threads looking for joiners or plumbers etc. Thought it might be an idea for a thread looking for workman. Apologies if this is against the rules. Am looking for workman down in the borders for some work

Apologies... It should be workpeople.. Mods can you edit to workpeople

What sort of work are you needing done / what trade(s) are you looking for? Not asking on my behalf - I can just about manage to change a lightbulb - but I might know some people, or know some people who know some people...

You'd maybe be better saying what kind of workman you need.   dunno.gif

If it's changing lightbulbs, I guarantee to charge less than AR.

Probably need decorators and joiners mainly.. Apologies for the scatterbrained approach... Although that doesn't mean you can charge me £250 for changing a light bulb... I know that is £75 tops

Could be a good thread.

I'm in the process of getting quotes to refit a bathroom. Any plumbers/tilers fancy quoting then let me know.

As an aside, what do folk reckon I should be looking at for gutting existing bathroom, replacing bathroom suite (and shower/radiator), tiling floors and ceilings and fitting ceiling cladding and spot lights? Bathroom is small, only 1.7m x 1.9m.

Next question would be, where in the Borders is the OP? No point in recommending a decorator in Duns if you live in Drumelzier!
