Coventry play today.

They are at risk of being kicked out of the league. Their deal to play at their current (rugby) ground ends and there are big issues in agreeing a new deal. There is a date in March they have to advise where they will play next season. Then a hearing at end April would decide.

Losing 4-1 at home to Crystal Palace was the final straw for Claude Puel now sacked.

Just watching the Hamilton game and it’s nauseating stuff from the commentary.

waxing lyrical about Rangers and wonderful and memorable it is for the 17 year old debutant to play his first game against the mighty Rangers!

He’ll remember it alright after this thumping they (Hamilton) about to get!

I wonder if it will be mentioned at all in the press!?

If the country and football truly want to nail this it needs to be headline news in all media outlets.

2 injury substitutions already by Man Utd. Mata and Herrera off.

Could be 3 before half time. Rashford struggling they are saying.

Liverpool too. Sturridge for Fimino.

According to 5 live’s report from

the game, the The Rangers fans unfurled a banner stating, “hope you’re better, Steve Clarke.” I genuinely think she thought this was a nice gesture by the visiting support!!!

I know slightly different but Liverpool fans started singing through the minutes appluase.

Just what is it with some football fans.

Hasn't won in 6 games - sacked.

Shakspeare - didn't win in 6 games, sacked.

Ranieri - didn't win in 6 games sacked.

At least the board / owners are becoming consistent.

The only other comparable game though not 1st half was 5 players out of 6 substitutions injured in 2-2 Cup derby in 2016

Man Utd Fans complaining about injuries. Their team without those players only costs about £200 million

Shocked to find Pat Bonner is once again part of the BBC team at Celtic Park.

Has he actually covered a non-celtic game? Just ludicrous.

The Bookkeeper

Very disappointing performance from Liverpool. Had themselves in a commanding position a few weeks back and will never have a better chance to go to Old Trafford and win an important game. However they have not done nearly enough in recent away games at City, West Ham or today and have handed the initiative back to Man City who are in much better form. They look short of quality when it comes to the crunch and Salah again failed to show up in a big match. If I were a fan I would think things are looking very ominous.

Naturally his beloved Mhanks weren't playing that day.

And he was back covering them the next day :D

Bonnar stoking the flames at Parkheid as young Motherwell player says naw to giving the ball back at 0-2 down and score. 'He'll regret that, says Paddy.

If this was the other way round, it would be 'need to play to the whistle, stay alert etc,and well, Celtic were winning anyway. Unfortunate but hey ho.

It's not good for the game, this will be the headline tomorrow, and it takes away from a decent game we've had here. I think young James Scott will regret that one

The atmosphere around Celtic Park has taken a turn for the worse following that controversial Motherwell goal. The Celtic fans and players are furious about what they perceive as a lack of sportsmanship. Motherwell’s chief executive Alan Burrows is getting pelters from Celtic supporters just in front of the directors’ box. Incredible scenes.

Should Motherwell have let Celtic score? Within the sportsmanship of the game surely they have to let them score

That Motherwell goal was beautiful.  Celtic expecting the ball back after they put it out for their player to get treatment.  Well take the throw and go up the park and score ?.

Should Guidetti roil it to the Hearts keeper after his dive?

If the incident involved any of those injury feigning diving cheats Tierney, Forrest or Christie then well done Motherwell.

Always hated this expectation of playing the ball out and expecting the ball back...unless the ref stops the game then carry on...

Apprecitate that this is the expected convention, and perhaps odd to do it when 2-0 in a random league match that you will likely lose anyway....however, in cup tie or league decided, etc. I would do this every time and not feel apologetic or remorseful in the slightest....

The fact that he had the stones to do it against that lot at home just makes it all the more entertaining!!!
