Magic Numbers
From Local newspaper: "Rumours are rife that East Coast radio station Talk 107 are poised to change their name from Talk 107 to TALK 108. Station bosses feel that the name change would keep the popular station, which often hosts football programmes featuring famous ex football stars from Edinburgh's main football club "Heart of Midlothian", and on occasion former journeymen, from other local outfit "Hibernian FC". Several football fans have rung the station to complain about the name change, with the main complaint being that the change appears to be in anticipation of Hibernian's 108th year without winning the Scottish Cup. We interviewed several football fans regarding the name change, and on the whole, most were positive about the change, feeling that it should be an annual event. Talk 107 bosses have since indicated that they feel it may be a positive marketing strategy to name-change annually with a glamorous annual launch in commemoration of Hibernian's perpetual Scottish Cup drought. Presenters Gordon Dallas and Mark "Donkey" Donaldson were tonight unavailable for comment. :107years:
