Scarves around the funnel rattled off our ties over the last few years. Raith aside I think it has been Hibs or Prem opposition in every tie. Crazy run. Has to turn eventually. If you compared Rangers , Celtic , Hibs and Aberdeen though it would be interesting to see if it is just our perception or they have had on paper easier ties the same period. Just saw above Murrayfield is in use and Hibs at home. So dount we will get our 3pm sat now ?

JamboGraham
You can be almost certain that Premier will take Celtic and Rangers every round that they can due to their subscription model. This is an organisation with far shallower pockets than Sky or BT. I expect the BBC will go with the highland derby and ourselves.
JamTarts51
Thankfully got them at Tynecastle, I think it would be very sticky playing away at a sold out junior ground even with the quality of player. Certainly looking positive that we can progress to the later stages!
heartsfc_fan
Happy with the draw. No faffing about this time please Hearts. Interestingly enough the crowd when we played them in 2012 was only 8,895.
Martin_T
They probably should have beaten us in 2012. We ended up with Ian Black playing at centre half IIRC and had to set the defence up so that Andy Webster challenged every high ball with Black sweeping behind him. They had us pinned back in the later stages and had a legitimate goal ruled out for offside.

Sloan their manager has them well set up, very organised side with a few good forwards and wide players. They play a very direct game and are dangerous at set pieces. However in Berra we have one of the best defenders in the country are dealing with high balls and physical players. Getting the ball moving at pace and getting in behind their defence and I would expect us to score quite a few. We have good seasoned pros at the club and I would expect them to ensure every player knows that we play the game like it’s a premier league side. Fully expect us to win by 5 or 6.
