I felt the lassie could see the ball she was picking out when she was drawing the away team at pittodrie!!

She obviously was told it couldn’t be Celtic.

She was totally focused on what was left.

I’m not convinced we’ll turn them over as easily as people think.

Hopefully a professional performance and they get seen off.

Hibs at home as well, so if we’re on TV it’s likely to be Fri night or Sunday (suspect Killie v Rangers to be Sat lunchtime).

Correct, why was it open and no cover over it with just a hole for your hand?

I hope we are more convincing than the last time.

It's a cup tie, you only have to win1=0.

It turned out alright that season

They're hicks from Ayrshire, what did you expect?

They all migrated here from P&B the last time we drew them. Noised us up, and to give credit where it's due, did it fairly well. Think we need a focus group on how we approach these hillbillies this time round.

Your nerves must be shot if playing a part-time team at Tynecastle gives you the fear.

Celtic vs st johnstone on tv then.

Would imagine that and Killie v Rangers on Premier Sports then maybe St Mirren v Utd and County v Caley on BBC. When did we last have a saturday 3pm cup game

Was the girl doing the draw looking at the balls as she pulled them out? Seemed pretty blatant

Probably the last time we played Talbot.

Wouldn't be the first time we played anyway.

She did a job for us though. Can't say I wouldn't do the same. Craig Beattie needs to have a look at himself as he was blatantly looking away.

Great draw for for both us and Talbot, hope we sell a few more tickets than today as I always like seeing the junior teams making a bit of money.

11000 today far more than the hobos and aberdeen, .

BBC won’t show us twice in a row so it’ll likely be Premier (Friday night?)

Delighted with the draw. Pretty sure it'll be a better performance than last time we played them. Should properly go for it and play as strong a team as we have available.

We play Livingston at home Wed 6 Feb so surely not Friday 8th.

Hopefully the Sunday. Travelling from Ayrshire a bit easier too.

Scarves around the funnel rattled off our ties over the last few years. Raith aside I think it has been Hibs or Prem opposition in every tie. Crazy run. Has to turn eventually. If you compared Rangers , Celtic , Hibs and Aberdeen though it would be interesting to see if it is just our perception or they have had on paper easier ties the same period.

Just saw above Murrayfield is in use and Hibs at home. So dount we will get our 3pm sat now ?

Up against a former Hearts managers team this could go badly for the Losers.

Also Raith are one the highest scorers in Scotland this season.

Home tie against some junior banjo players, yet some people are still crying conspiracy!

These draws are unsettling as much as they are pleasing.

Best draw available but only on paper.

I'll be shitting it when kick off arrives.

Imagine it was away ?

You can be almost certain that Premier will take Celtic and Rangers every round that they can due to their subscription model. This is an organisation with far shallower pockets than Sky or BT.

I expect the BBC will go with the highland derby and ourselves.

Thankfully got them at Tynecastle, I think it would be very sticky playing away at a sold out junior ground even with the quality of player.

Certainly looking positive that we can progress to the later stages!

Happy with the draw. No faffing about this time please Hearts.

Interestingly enough the crowd when we played them in 2012 was only 8,895.

They probably should have beaten us in 2012. We ended up with Ian Black playing at centre half IIRC and had to set the defence up so that Andy Webster challenged every high ball with Black sweeping behind him. They had us pinned back in the later stages and had a legitimate goal ruled out for offside.

Missed a penalty too did they not?

I think we missed a penalty to make it 2-0, Fraser Mullen IIRC.

No, we did.

I watch a lot of WoS junior football. Sloan  their manager has them well set up, very organised side with a few good forwards and wide players. They play a very direct game and are dangerous at set pieces.

However in Berra we have one of the best defenders in the country are dealing with high balls and physical players. Getting the ball moving at pace and getting in behind their defence and I would expect us to score quite a few. We have good seasoned pros at the club and I would expect them to ensure every player knows that we play the game like it’s a premier league side. Fully expect us to win by 5 or 6.

been here before

Quite looking forward to this even if it is a no win game.

Came close to getting our arses handed to us last time round. Interestingly Gordon Pope, the boy who had the perfectly good goal disallowed, still plays for Talbot. Infact he played yesterday.

Imagine if Cowdenbeath won their tie ? Rangers, along with every other so called big gun, has no devine right to win their match.

Can't imagine their keeper will have another miracle game, and we should shove the 8 or 9 past them that we deserved last time.

That day we were fortunate to progress, underestimate Auchinleck at your pearl. I think anyone who has a clue about junior football knows that their result against Ayr wasn’t that much of a shock and they are a club who’s used to winning.
