I still miss the Phileas Fogg snack range from the late 1980's/early 1990s.

They had some incredible products.

The modern range is pish.

PhileasFogg-PunjabPuri.jpg Curry flavour baked crisps with a similar texture to Royster's but really wee.

Amazing them. Have to try and avoid that aisle in Asda or they'll end up in my basket.

I had a ritual when they were available to buy a packet before every Grand Prix and work my way through them with numerous cups of coffee while watching the race.

The Scotmid at Whitehouse Road had a load of Mackie's flavours when I was in yesterday, looked like new ones, but I didn't take a proper look so can't say they had these ones. They were on their own wee stand in one of the aisles.

Salt and Vinegar Pringles with a bottle of  peroni today was delicious.   Was helpful because the beer was awful!   Tasty crisps.  I could have them on their own.

Never tried Peroni.

Pretty expensive compared to other beers and, well, you may as well stick to what you know and like.

Nothing worse than getting home and realising you have a fridge full of bottled dish water.

Had that experience with Rolling Rock. No crisp in the world could make that muck taste better. 😊

Love Cofresh stuff. Their crisps are in Tesco, but Morrisons have their coated peanuts which come in an array of different curry flavours. Shame there's no Morrisons that close to me. :(

It is. 2 for £1 and have been for donks.

Huge range and great for when your beer gets a bit too wet.

After recovering from nerve damage I developed a condition where I cry out of my right eye when my taste buds are stimulated.

There's a decent chance I'd die of dehydration trying to eat them, not to mention losing a finger or 2 in the melee.

Been keeping an eye out since I seen your post. Home Bargains at Hermiston Gait have loads of them. Just tried a few and they are very good. I could easily finish the whole bag right now but will keep them for tomorrow.

Aldi are selling Beef Wellington flavoured crinkle cut crisps. Well worth slumming it to grab a bag.

I opened a 150g packet of Aldi crinkle cuts earlier - beef and horseradish. Intended to have a few.  Of course I scoffed the lot. I have a similar bag - pigs in blankets flavour which I'm trying to resist.

I'm eating Brocolli and Stilton soup with crusty sourdough bread and butter and you are making me a green as the soup.

Sounds feckin delicious.

Makes a change from you slathering your sourdough with feckin marmite.

KP have been hit by a massive cyber attack.

Their entire distribution system is down and it is going to cause shortages of many of their products.

Hula Hoops, McCoy’s, Tyrrells crisps, Butterkist, Skips, Nik Naks and KP Nuts will all be in short supply for the foreseeable future.
