If anyone gives a flying ****, I picked up a big bag of Curry Transform a Snack in Scotmid last night. Haven't tried them yet, will report back with my opinions when I eat them, if anyone gives a flying ****.

I miss a packet of Tudor Pickled Onion

My favourite piece at work was Potted Meat with the pickled onion crisps.

The crisps added just before consumption because they were soggy if you added them in the morning?

My favourites are Brannigans Roast Beef and Mustard and coop Chardonnay and vinegar crisps.

I actually really like coop plain tortilla chips.

I used to like 5p bags of meanies and farmer browns when I was younger.

My girlfriends fave in 1982, when we were 14. Her breath could be a bit whiffy but she was pretty so I put up with it. :)

Not your sister in law, I presume? ?

This might sound a bit boring given the many flavours out there in the crisp world but I am watching my salt intake as the old BP was creeping up. I have started using salt n shake crisps, without the salt obviously, and after a while you realise it is the flavour of the oil and potato that you crave not the salt.

Definitely not my sister-in-law.

To view that particular specimen, I recommend a jaunt to the elephant enclosure in Edinburgh Zoo.

Anyone remember the curry chips you used to get? 10p bags. With the texture of Transform-A-Snack, it's a bit like them.

Beef chilli Transform-a-Snack are beautiful too.

Probably not.

Questions are though:

Do they sell them in Hamilton?

Do they get delivered in a white van?

Can you eat them as part of a full Scottish?

We tried these crisps a couple of weeks ago, which we bought in ASDA. As it says on the packet, they are great with beer. We also tried some of the Marks and Spencer range they brought out for Christmas, they all tasted the same despite the wonderful descriptions on the bags. What crisps do you like/recommend?  Feel free to include tortilla chips.

Cheers, have asked Mrs Frenchman if I can take it on holiday with us, so that it can be in all our holiday snaps. Her answer wasn't oui.

I won't lie.

I will eat pretty much any crisps.
