Every managerial appointment is a gamble. At least Austin knows the club,the rest of the coaching staff and the players. A new man would be a potentially expensive gamble. The guys never been a head coach in his puff and been here through erm no success at all. He’s much more of a gamble than a head coach manager who has actual experience and wants to be his own person. Levein goes then it’s clear out time. Perhaps keep Austin to be our special play set piece coach? Main man though? Based only on the recommendation of the man who appointed Cathro and has hardly done brilliant himself in the role? An experienced coach that’s won something in the game would be a start. And I think it will happen.
