Wanting traders to pay them hundreds of pounds to join their website. Go on to any (not just the council one) of those websites and leave a positive review and it's up right away. Try and leave a negative one They'll tell you it needs to be investigated I read a review of a trader who joined the one that's all over the TV He hadn't gotten any work for 8 weeks so went on the website to investigate. He found that he was on page 8 and traders miles outside his area were on the first page. He phoned them to complain and was told he needed to be rated to be up the pecking order. He said he couldn't be rated because he hadn't gotten any jobs. Her response was to get your family and friends and anyone you know to go on the website and leave positive feedback about fake jobs. There is undercover BBC report dated January 2018 and they were investigated by watchdog a couple of years ago (not the Edinburgh council scheme) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
