Current Hibs lot an Exceptional Team

Hibs fans don't do memories though. Their reaction to the 22 song is that half the young team weren't alive when it happened. A statement which was irrelevant when their only saving grace was the 7-0 gesture.

McGinn has two caps and was awarded man of the match in both games if you are as bitter and blinkered in other areas of your life, then you are going to miss so much.

Is this where we are now?

It's pathetic.

Yeah although he gives Stubbs too much credit.  They are way better under Lennon.  They'd still be in the championship with Stubbs.

The idea that Neilson's team couldn't have won at ER is ridiculous.  They got beat at home from teams like Alloa and stuff.

They are probably the 2nd best Hibs team of my lifetime (34) but a pretty big drop off from the Sauzee/Latapy team

He may mean that Stubbs essentially put the squad together.  McGinn, McGeough and, kind of, Allan, all Stubbs signings.  Maybe Boyle too?

Which does make you wonder if Lennon can put a team together?  genuine question, what's his success rate with Hibs on recruitment?  He can get a team motivated and playing for him, but can he make the signings?

 Well he wanted Lafferty!

They are above average for a hibs team, we are well below what is expected for a Hearts team .

It wont last.

Hibs have had a few years of a stable, pretty much unchanging team.  We haven't had that and I'd like to see them with our injuries, one of their 16 year olds, and two of their 17 year olds in the derby!

Yes. In the second tier. We've made an absolute mess of the opportunity the Championship win gave us and it's inexcusable.

We came out the Championship at the least a season early. We had no right to romp it in the manner that we did.
