Apparently, what Middlesbrough used to do was to give a prospective signing a full tour of the North Yorkshire/Co. Durham countryside, followed by a gander at their super-deluxe training facility at Hurworth. They would then be helicopetered to the Riverside (landing in the centre circle) where they would put pen to paper.
