One minute the press are saying Mr X has been offered the job...next minute Mr Y is now favourite...etc etc I was just thinking, if Butcher was willing to be brought in with Thor and that move seems to have broken down, why not go for Butcher on his own? But Kojak is Greek, and Greece is further east (mostly) than Slovakia, so he would obviously be even more of a puppet than Weiss, given the idea that somehow the further east you come from the more of a Vlad puppet you would be. I happen to think you have a very pertinent point. I would be very tempted to go for Butcher on his own and see if a GM can be found to oversee. I think he did a magic job at Motherwell under similar circumstances to McGhee and he is certainly a man motivator. The Brow Posted June 23, 2008 Share Posted June 23, 2008 My main problem with Butcher is that he seems to just chuck the toys out the pram and try to get teams to perform through fear. He doesnt strike me as very tactical or intelligent at all. I may be wrong but I find the way he portrays himself embarrassing. He could possibly make a good number 2 to a more tactical main man?
