Just had a wee peek at London hearts and I’m actually surprised that Hibs definitely had the upper hand in those early days.

Up until 14th April 1888 we had played 51 times with Hibs winning 27 of them and us winning only 11.

We then went on a 13 game unbeaten run.

That was the original Hibs who were attracting players and fans from all over Scotland. It's no wonder they had the upper hand.

Something happened in 1888 which changed this.
