jkato
I've got to take issue with the OP. Personally, I think that Larrson was one of the best players to play in the SPL (Laudrup, Gascoigne being another couple) and this castigation of former OF players is rather juvenile (not only because I've backed the draw). Sergio Garcia
Agreed, i think its a disgrace Larsson is there, is it right he did not play the qualifiers yet was available for the tournament or have i picked that up wrong? To be fair to Larsson, he retired before the qualifiers but the management asked him back when they qualified. The main reason for this was because no one thought he would still be playing competitive football still.

loveofthegame
Larsson's 1 of, if not the only, former Celtic player i've ever admired. I hate Celtic as much as the next Hearts fan (maybe more than many) but Larsson was such a great player and great professional. Should have left Tic long before he did and made himself a superstar at Man U or a club of similar stature. However, this tournament is the 1st time ive watched him and thought hes starting to look past it. Hes shown nothing in any of the 3 games. Russia look like they will win and on todays performance more than deserve it. Hiddink is a great coach.
