Castro and McPhee took over a poor squad and tried to move some on and add a bit experience. Plus we have lost probably our most influencial player in CP and JS to serios injury. Next season is the time to complain if performances and results do not improve. EUROPA Cup qualification is not important IMO. We need to improve and start well next season as it is likely our first few games will be played away to allow the new stand to be built. Thoughts! Five to One Posted February 22, 2017 Share Posted February 22, 2017 I'm getting tired of saying this but our recruitment is shambolic. If that doesn't change nothing will. The original plan was to balance a squad between players from the youth team and good signings. Why have we deviated from that so drastically? We've fallen into the trap of signing ordinary dross instead of 2-3 quality players a season - paying a little bit more and getting something in return. Starting to think I'm wasting the money I'm putting into FoH every month if it goes towards the wages of mercenaries like Martin.
