Darth Sidious
Glad I got the 6.30 train from Dunfermline this morning. Only going to get worse as the day goes on as its unlikely they can get the crane on to lift it until the wind dies down. This is the first day of getting a train the Fife Circle since the brain fart Edinburgh Gateway was opened. I usually get a train from Gyle home after work but now trains are split between Gyle and the Gateway. Does anyone have experience of what the best station to use around 6? IE, I might actually get on a train.

Goldstone Wonder
The driver has been charged. I'm a normally a bleeding heart liberal but he should be jailed for this, imho. His choice to intentionally ignore the signage has put the lives of all the people who had to rescue him at risk and significantly inconvenienced tens of thousands of commuters (including me). Hopefully one of those inconvenienced was the future sentencing Sheriff.

DETTY29
If found guilty minimum 1 year loss of license, automatic test re-sit, unlimited fine. Oh and max of 2 years in the nick. What do you want to happen to him? Options above and no doubt automatic dismissal from work. When you multiply what has happened to you by tens of thousands of people impacted, it should be the book. A crane can't go on the bridge to turn it the right way until winds fall below 40mph for a period of 20 minutes. And then you have to try and open the bridge to traffic as single carriage way first until repairs can start. Have had to cancel work today which is going to cost me refunds which is going to leave me out of pocket. Absolutely no sympathy with this arse.
