There's going to be spare capacity this season, hence its hard to see why we need to expand the stadium. Add to that, the fact he's clearly displaced his enthusiam for other t'ings (how many Hearts matches did he Vlad to) and it weakens the case for investment. I'm off to Moscow this morning to see if I can get some oligarch to take over and run the show. So count me out brother Top Cat, but count me in for Iron Maiden at Twickers. It seems like it's being delayed every week Although I don't feel that it seems like it's been delayed every week I think it's worthwhile remembering that just about all the delays if not every delay has been down to 3rd parties, angry parents/nurseries, Edinburgh transport, that Distillery and now we're waiting on the Council who changed from Labour to SNP which again would cause delays. Hearts have been doing nothing but battling so far to get the planning permission in let alone laying a brick. I seem to remember suggesting something similar a long time ago. Possible. However, it would appear they have gone to extremes if it were just to 'justify' not proceeding with a new stand. I don't know why people suggest too that it would be daft to build it because we are not likely to fill it with the current team. I don't think things like stands get built and knocked down on the basis of how good / bad a team is at the current time. More likely reason for any delay / cancellation would be in relation to the other buildings involved in the ?51M (and taking up the majority of the building cost) such as hotel / flats. Not raising revenue from potential partners, that sort of thing. Then we could get the blame because of lower season ticket sales, rather than the owners admitting they didn't succeed commercially. If even that was the case. I haven't a clue if it will proceed, as who can fully trust this ownership?
