Dave Mackay - first choice in any hearts team ever. Alan Gordon - intelligence in head and feet. Donald Ford - great club servant and reliable goalscorer. Think the fans would be up for it so financially it could be a go'er. Sadly, players are too 'valuable' nowadays to have any tourneys like this. Mark Walters and Robert Pritz always stood out for Rangers. Remember going to Braehead to watch one, think Alan Laurance played for us and looked good - but was a good few years ago (maybe 9 or 10) so memory maybe playing up. He played more often than almost any other Hearts player. Of course he made mistakes. Gordon, Rousset, Niemi all made mistakes. I know this site is mostly based on opinion rather than fact but I can't agree with that. The man played hundreds of times for the club not only in SPL when we came so close to winning the title but also in Europe. The man is a legend. Recent fans favourites (Gordon, Niemi, Rousset) all made plenty of mistakes in their time. All keepers do. They never played half the games Henry did. Of course Henry made mistakes.
