As it stands no strikers are needed.

Sow is on a run of fitness that I hope will last much longer than last season.

Juanma is like Diego Costa but hard working without being a total arsehole.

Reilly works really hard for the team and while not yet hitting the goals looks like he will do well for us in a Kenny Miller type role.

I just don't see us needing another striker. Not while a creative midfielder with some power and presence in the middle is probably a higher priority.

Going by this, we don't have a striker of the poacher variety, which is what McKay is.

Very few teams do have a poacher now.A player needs to bring far more to teams now than just being a poacher.

Gone are the days of one striker doing all the graft with the other grabbing the glory.

Sow against Partick. Right place right time to just stick it in from a yard.

He's done it plenty of times before as well.

If you deploy him as a striker and not out wide he gives you that poachers instinct in the box but also brings loads of other attributes as well.

Dagger Is Back

Oh we need another striker make no mistake.

We just need Sow injured or Juanma injured/suspended and we're pretty short. Reilly hasn't, apart from working hard, shown a helluva lot of promise in terms of goal scoring and Oliver's not at that level. El Hass sounds very injury prone too.

Serious question. Why aren't Aberdeen in for him? They have taken anyone else half decent ICT have ever had.

Apart from Wyness

McKay or May - did well in SPL but flopped in England so why would we be interested ?

Much prefer an unknown player (EU or Non EU ) who may just come in and storm the league
