jamboinglasgow
to be fair with him, this is the time he is allowed to party, as long as he did a bit of fitness during the day he can get as drunk as he likes in the evening. It amazes me that the press can get away with that. They swarm around someone and try and block them in, obviously the friends of Pinilla had to move them. Afterwards the press take the high ground. Though I dont know why, it feels good that there is a player playing for Hearts who is such a draw to his home nation. Lets hope he can show us on the pitch this season of what he can really do (though remember saying this last season.)

Sorry mate, but if he was serious about sorting himself out, he would be in training, not in nightclubs. Even just till he's fit and playing first team regularly, he'd cut all that **** out. He's had chance after chance. sadly this is the case but as I am the etenral optimist I still live in hope. In fact my Hearts shirt this year had Pinilla on the back I liked him when he first arrived, and I kept hoping he'd sort his head out and get fit and on the park as he's clearly got the talent. 2 years later, it's became clear to me that this is VERY unlikely to happen. Boaby Ewing
I can't help but remember that crappy old stat about how your standard British 'love-making' session (lights off, socks on, three pumps and a Sepp Blatter) burned roughly as much energy as jogging a mile. Judging by the amount of high-class chuff he's been hitting, I'd imagine he's about ready to run a marathon.

The People's Chimp
it's agreed that footballers, like everyone else are allowed nights out. Nobody is stopping berra, or jonsson from going out in edinburgh and having a night out. Pinilla is back in chile - for whatever reason, but no doubnt authorised by the club. It doesn't look to me like he's doing much hardcore boozing, he's barely been given the opportunity. But what it does show is the huge strain this boy is under. He can't even go for a drink without a scrum like that descending upon him. It's crazy. The amount of pressure there must be for him to cope with, from the chilean media, is a lot more than we thought. With that kind of papparazi attention, i'm surprised they font stalk him over here as well, the way nakamura has his japanese photographers following him around the east end of glasgow. Guest JamboRobbo
He's on holiday - surely, he can do what he likes within reason? Yep, so it's a case of what is reasonable. For me, for a professional sportsman who's supposed to be trying to get his career back on track after years of "injury" problems, and is supposed to be spending the summer getting in shape for next season to make up for the previous 2 disastrous seasons, hanging out in nightclubs and chasing birds isn't showing much respect to the people who just gave him a 3 year 12k a week contract, and doesn't bode well for our chances of seeing him perform on the football park next year............ I never even mentioned you and what nerve do you think you could have possibly touched? Actually, you come across as someone that's jealous of the boy's lifestyle. ?12K per week and shagging Miss World lookalikes doesn't sound bad to me but maybe you've got your 16.5k posts on here to keep you warm at night?
