As a follow up to the 'Bands You Listen to etc...'

What do people listen to when they are wasted?

I have found myself listening to allsorts, from 'Classic Fm at the Movies'(Not a Band I know!) to Dire Straits and The Kinks. Now Dire Straits I can understand as my older brothers introduced me to them but 'The Kinks' way before my time! I like the Rolling Stones, again way before my time (60's & 70's stuff!) same with Queen.

Is the 'old' stuff the best? OK I can put No Way Sis on if I feel the mood is right but it has to be right! :booze::booze:

You would find me around 4 in the morning crooning along to Bowie or bob dylan and on the odd occasion tim buckley.

I usually get nostaligic when I'm wasted and start listening to all my favourite hip-hop tracks that I haven't put on in a while. Early Wu-Tang and Roots Manuva usually get picked as well. Not sure why, ask me when I'm not sober.

Yes

Tangerine Dream

Jethro Tull

Blue Oyster Cult

and of course Pink Floyd (Atom Heart Mother)

Beautiful voice.

6.30pm now and I feel the need to liberate some red wine.

I saw Yes at the Empire and Jethro Tull and Pink Floyd at the Usher Hall.

I'm partial to The Who when I've had a bev. :)
